The auspicious Gaura Purnima was celebrated for 4 days starting from March 8th, with great awe and reverence. Hundreds of devotees thronged to see the marvelous Abhishekam and Arati of Gaura-Nitai deities. Devotees were drowned in ecstasy by watching the amazing Abhishekam accompanied by soul stirring kirtan. Everyone were given an opportunity to perform Abhishekam.

The second day was a Virtual parikrama (spiritual tour) of Nawadwip done by various teams through presentations, drama and artistic-models. The Third day was the beautiful Thirumanjana Seva for Lord Sri Laxmi-Narsimha. Hundreds of devotees loved the wonderful Narasimha Sudharshana homa and Abhishekam and, were simply stunned seeing the beauty of Sri Laxmi-Nrsimha watching without blinking the eyes. The Abhishekam was also webcasted live @ giridhari.com.

The fourth day was 'Jagannath Mishra feast' celebration, where everyone was served with Maha-prasadam of Dosa, coconut-chutney, sweet, kheer and juice. All devotees couldn't ask for more except, the eternal service of Sri Laxmi-Nrsimha Dev.

TEMPLE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The temple is growing in full pace, the Narasimha Pillars, the Courtyard, Yajna Mantap, Daiva Pakashala are beautifully shaping up.

The last week also was very inspiring to see devotees from various professions [IT professionals, Engg, Doctors, Temple-priest, children, home-makers...] joining hands for the construction of temple. By the mercy of Lord, the crucial Slab-casting of sri Gandharvika Giridhari on the 2nd floor was completed simultaneously with the Gaura- Purnima festivals.
