Peer Support Supervisor/CPS

Penn Psychiatric Center, Collegeville/Phoenixville PA

Peer Support Supervisor/CPS performs a wide range of tasks to support all CPS positions in helping to empower clients to explore new options, resources, feelings, relationships and supports individuals by providing hope, encouragement, support, self-determination, and connections to the community.

  • Review of referrals for eligibility
  • Completion of intake with the Peer Specialist
  • Review of Authorizations to CCBH for each participant with Program Coordinator.
  • Chart audits
  • Weekly supervision of Peer Support Specialists
  • Group supervision of Peer Support Specialists
  • Review of weekly schedules
  • Review of Activity Reports and progress notes
  • Maintain database for productivity and documentation due.
  • Grow the program to capacity
  • Attend county meetings accordingly
  • Serve as CPS as needed while growing the program

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred and certification as a peer specialist from an approved provider and 2 years equivalent full time work or volunteer experience in the last 3 years.

Experience:

A Valid and current Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor and CPS certification

Other:

A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with clean driving record may be required.
