National Practice Standards for Peer Supporters (Progress)

Additional surveys have been distributed to populations of peer supporters that were under-represented in the initial survey on the core values of peer support. So far, the responses have been nearly unanimous in agreement for the chosen values. As a part of the literature review, the team is evaluating a tool kit published by the World Health Organization (WHO) for assessing and improving quality and rights standards for mental health care providers. The WHO tool kit is available for review at: http://www.who.int/mental_health/publications/QualityRights_toolkit/en/
