General Instructions:
1. Candidate should have obtained a Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the qualifying examination (PG Degree). For SC/ST candidates and for candidates who have completed the PG degree before 1991, the minimum can be only 50% for admission to the Ph.D. Programme.
2. A regular teachers of affiliated college with two years of continuous teaching experience after P.G., degree., are eligible to register for Ph.D. (Part-time) Programme.
3. Full time Guest lecturers with four years of teaching experience in the same institution are eligible to register for Ph.D Part-time Programme.
4. The online application designed for the July 2020 session alone will be accepted and other applications will not be considered for admission under any circumstances.
5. Candidates are informed to submit the Hard copy of the on-line Application form to the respective University Department / Affiliated College / Research Institution where the candidate is proposed to do their research work on or before 22.08.2020.
6. Candidate should secure at least 25 marks out of 50 marks in the entrance test (Written and Oral).
7. The entrance test which will be
conducted by the respective Department / Affiliated
College / Institution
should carry a maximum of 50 marks as detailed below:
Written examination 35 marks
and (b) Oral examination 15 marks. The Syllabus of the
Entrance Test should
consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% should be
on subject specific.
The candidate should secure at least 25 marks out of 50
marks in the entrance
test (Written and Oral).
Provided that a relaxation of 5% of marks (from 50% to
45% ) shall be allowed
for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently–abled
category in the
entrance test examination conducted by the Universities.
