Dear Dr. Muthu,

 

Nanomaterials and Systems Laboratory (Department of Mechatronics Engineering), Jeju National University is located in Jeju Island, South Korea. We invite outstanding students to apply for the Ph.D. positions available at our Laboratory under Prof. Kim Sang-Jae.

 

The Prospective students will carry out research in the field of novel, engineered fuel cell materials and devices for self-powered sensors/systems. The laboratory also focuses on multi-disciplinary research. Further, we work on energy harvesting systems (Nanogenerators), Energy storage systems (Supercapacitors, Batteries, Hybrid capacitors and Self-charging power cells), and Self-powered Bio sensors.

 

High preference will be given to students interested in Fuel cell research.

 

The selected student would register his/her Ph.D. from 1^st September 2019.

 

We Offer:

ü  Fully funded Ph.D. admission and registration fee.

ü  Living expenses of 900,000 to 1,000,000 KRW (approx.: 850 USD) per month.

 

Requirements:

ü  Excellent academic performance

ü  Students with background from Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Nano science/ Bio-nanotechnology/ Biotechnology and Polymer sciences.

ü  Very good English language skills and ability to write research manuscripts

ü  One or two Prior Publications in International Journal is desirable
