Science & Technology Entreprenuers Park ( STEP ) of National Institute of Technology , Surathkal , Karnataka has partnered with IEEE SB and its Industry Associates to provide One Month Industry Internships to students with the intention to Leverage Learning and sharing of resources and industry advancements across virtual programs for quick adaptation.

To make the Virtual Industry Internship more effective , we’ve redefined – and in many ways, broadened – what it means to be an Internship program. This STEP – NITK – IEEE Internship Program is designed to be a perfect mix of basic training,tasks & assignments, proctored exams, coding skills and developing more consistent practices to get best suited to the Industrial standards and capability.

STEP NITK – IEEE – INTERNSHIP are in the FOLLOWING FUNCTIONAL AREAS.

INTERNSHIP ON IOT WITH MACHINE LEARNING

Get Proficiency in IoT with Python basic libraries for machine learning such as sci kit-learn and pandas, Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets ,Get familiarized in ML Frameworks ,Learn, Practice & Work on predictive modelling and handling large data sets for statistical analysis and modeling. Learn from Assignments & Tasks to Interface sensors to controllers & retrieve data from Cloud servers..

INTERNSHIP ON ELECTRICAL & EV DESIGNS USING MATLAB

Learn from the scratch to design power electronics designs such as inverters , converters and more. With the boom in the Green Energy and Hybrid Vehicles , the last two weeks of the program focusses on Electric Vehicle design on Motor control & Battery Design and Specifications .

Intern assistance will be project-driven & hands-on ,providing the participants with more knowledge about the domain
