We invite Outstanding Students to apply for the Ph.D positions available at Jeju National University which is located in Jeju Island, South Korea, under the supervision of Prof. Sang-Jae KIM. The Prospective students will carry out the research in the field of Energy Storage and Generation fields including Energy Harvesting (Piezo-Nanogenerators, Supercapacitors, Batteries, Hybrid Capacitors and Self-Charging Power Cells).
The laboratory also focuses on multi-disciplinary research in competitive research environment.
High preference will be given to students who have prior Experience in the above mentioned research fields and having one or two international publications.
Kindly note that:
1,000,000 Korean Won will be paid as monthly fellowship. Registration and tuition fees will be waived by PhD Supervisor, however, during admission, for the first semester fee, students need to pay initially to university, which will be paid back to students once after they arrived to lab at Korea.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Excellent academic performance (in Both UG and PG, more than 80 % score is preferred.) If anyone has less than 80 % in UG or PG, Please do not apply.
2. Passed out/final semester Master Students with background from Materials Science/Physics/Chemistry/Nano Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/Nanotechnology.
3. Very good English language skills and ability to write research manuscripts.
4. Candidate should have a valid Passport now.
5. Any Publications in International Journal is highly desirable (Preference will be given to these students).
