Hello nanoenthusiasts, happy Friday!
In case you missed the NanoEducators Quarterly Forum on October 4th, we had a great discussion! Ms. Jenny Thomas and Ms. Susanne Dana shared the nanotechnology lesson plans they developed and implemented in their middle school and high school classrooms. They shared lots of great activities you could implement in your classroom.
If you haven't already, be sure to view their presentation and/or the slide decks. The Zoom recording, their slide deck and materials, and other resources can be found here. The link also includes recordings of past sessions and other resources that have been previously discussed.
The next NanoEducator Forum will be held on November 29 at 6:30 p.m. ET. In this special educators working session, you are invited to spend the meeting identifying and planning a lesson that fits YOUR middle or high school science classroom. Navigate the vast number of vetted nano labs and activities with the help of experienced Nanoscience Educator Dr. Mariel Kolker and find what fits your curriculum and comfort level. Bring colleagues or collaborate with others. Register here! A flyer is attached.
Finally, make sure you do not miss future nanoscience events and resources, join our Google group.
