We will have an open discussion led by Yuanxi and and a presentation by Christian this time:

• Yuanxi Fu: “Nanopublication for Documenting Scholarly Growth” - Many contemporary scholarly big-data infrastructures focus on the public-facing dimensions of scholarship, such as publications, funding records, citations, and institutional affiliations. In contrast, I want to explore how nanopublications might provide an infrastructure for documenting a scholar’s intellectual growth over time. 
• Christian Meesters: “Software Provenance with Snakemake” - Why workflow managers are essential on HPC — and how Snakemake automates reproducibility. Watch a live demo: from running a workflow, to generating an HTML report with publication ready figures, to exporting software metadata as a nanopub — plus a mini visual knowledge graph, all via one plugin.
