Question about the msgid option in nanopbOptions

Hi everyone,

I noticed the msgid field inside nanopbOptions (field number 9) and couldn’t find much documentation about it.

My questions:

1. What is the current purpose of the msgid option?

2. Is it still used anywhere in the modern nanopb toolchain?

3. Is it safe to ignore it, or does it affect code generation in some scenarios.
