Titre et résumé :
Actin network dynamics and mechanics in cell shape changes and migration
We developed a new laser-based micropatterning method. We used it as a
"live-patterning" tool to investigate cell shape changes in response to
controlled microenvironment modifications. We used it as a "nano-patterning"
tool to investigate the role of actin network density in force production
during the growth of reconstituted lamellipodium in vitro. We will attempt
to integrate our conclusions from in vitro and in vivo experiments and
discuss the mechanical rules regulating the formation of protrusions during
cell migration.
