Dear all,
We are very happy to announce that the Microfabrication for Cell Biology
Club has been revived after some months of absence!!
The next meeting will take place on the 16th of June 2011, at 17h, at the CRI
(Institut Cochin, 24 rue du Faubourg Saint Jacques 75014 Paris) in the
seminar room in front of the AIV/CRI secretary office (follow the CRI/AIV
signs, third floor, on the left).
This session will be oriented towards microfabrication applications in
neurobiology.
The speakers will be:
1/ Catherine Villard (Institut Neel, UPR2940) : "Geometric constraints
and neuron mechanics : A study of axon differentiation"
2/ Diana Zala (Institut Curie, U1005 ) : "Microfluidics and energetic of
axonal transport"
2/ Mathieu Morel (ENS, LKB ) : " Amplification and Filtering During
Gradient Sensing by Nerve Growth Cones, Probed With a Shear-Less Microfluidic
assay and Single Quantum Dot Imaging "
Each talk should last around 30 minutes (questions included) so we hope
that it will be the start of side discussions.
We really hope to see you there, and please forward this announcement to
anyone who might be interested
