Hello!

We need Python and Unity 3D developers for a small project to be completed during February, to enable direct control over atoms using LeapMotion.

Leap Motion enables fast 3D-tracking of user's hands that can be used to directly manipulate virtual objects. We want to combine this control with a simple to use simulator where a user will be able to pick atoms, connect them with each other in accordance to physical properties and build simple constructions.

The goal right now is to have a demo at the launch of Leap Motion in early March. Later the simulator can be expanded in functionality. If we make a good demo, Leap Motion guys will probably use it to promote the product. Their product is one of the most anticipated gadgets of the year, so we can get a lot of good PR and get more resources for the project. Hopefully, we can use that to expand molecular nanotech functionality and build something genuinely useful.

We need a few more developers to expand our team of volunteers to build this technology quickly. We need Python developers and Unity 3D developers. Expertise with molecular simulations is a plus, but not a requirement. We have a github repo running, the Leap Motion SDK and two developer units for testing.

If you are interested, please reply or email our project co-ordinator Eugeny Zimin at zi...@sarov.info

It would help us if you would link to it. Also, do you have a budget
to pay for developers?

Hi,

Your project is amazing, but I'm up to my ears in research. I hope you find what you need.

Cheers,

-Bruce
