I get this error from time to time. I mess with some source files and it goes away.

Now my source files are pretty fancy with multiple transformations so it's likely a bug in my code.

But just in case I wanted to see if this error:

NoMethodError: undefined method `binary?' for nil:NilClass

Immediately brings up something in someone's mind...

Hey Pito,

That seems like something that shouldn’t happen, and it’s not something I’m aware of as a known issue. The next time this happens, could you share the `crash.log` file? That’ll give me a better idea of what could be going on.

Thanks,

Hi Dennis,

It seems to happen when I edit this file, adding lines and deleting them until it stops:

---
title: "Key Concept - MVP"
---
:slide_bigtitle Minimum Viable Product

:topic_include :mvp_summary
:topic_include :mvp_taxonomy

I have attached the log.

Hey Pito,

This bug is a bit of a mystery to me still. Is there a chance I can get access to the repository so I can attempt to reproduce the issue myself?

Thanks,

Hi Denis

Yes you can. It’s actually public. I have been editing my content (but not my code at all) and the problem is no longer occurring. But still you may spot something I am doing to mess things up.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
