Aloha All.

What a great idea. A place to share ideas about nano art with others
who use nano images in the creative process.

I know Cris gets some of his images from a university. I haven't
found the local university here in Hilo to be at all receptive or
helpful.

Are any of you aware of other sources of nano images?

Thanks Cris for starting this.

Hi Steve,
Yes, our group sites have many resources for nano images. Visit our
education site at www.TNTG.org and our nano news site at www.NanoNEWS.TV
www.foresight.org has an image gallery, www.nanoscience.com also has
an image gallery.

No problem, Steve.
Here are some ideas for sources: universities, independent analytical
labs, scientific or popular journals, (ask for permission to use their
images), Internet (ask for permission, also). You must have some
friends in this kind of places. If not, make some.
However, don't forget the very important first step in the creation
process of a NanoArt piece: the nanosculpture. It is very exciting to
do sculpture at molecular and atomic levels. Get some help from
scientists. Collaborate.
best,
cris
