Dear Mechanobiology enthusiast,
As you know, N4M 2026 has been postponed to 2027 (and you will have relevant news in due course) to concentrate the energy on the first European edition of the
International Symposium for Mechanobiology (ISMB2026).
ISMB2026 is organised in Glasgow, UK, from the 12th to the 16th of July 2026, and it gathers together an impressive cohort of international speakers who have contributed to shaping the field of Mechanobiology. The scientific program offers 4 days of thematic sessions spanning across all areas of mechanobiology. The social program promises intriguing opportunities to network, involving Scottish dance, a dinner in the museum, and the possibility to participate to a public event discussing the relationship between science and society with a diverse public.
ISMB2026 is organised at the Scottish Event Campus and co-located within a federated event, Synergy for Science (SynSci). In this context, ISMB will run alongside with other streams and societies, including a Piezo1 thematic workshop organised by the Physiological Society and the annual meeting of the British Biophysical Society (but others as well, please check the website).
The website is now open for registration and abstract submission:
Looking forward to meeting you all in Glasgow this summer!
