Hi everyone,

I'm writing a message to all the mechanobiology enthusiasts who participated in the previous N4M editions, to share an initiative that we are developing, and that we informally discussed many times during the recent N4M events.

The initiative relates to the interest and opportunity to consolidate the European mechanobiology community, in the direction of a society or similar subject. As you might remember from previous messages, a portion of the community recently met in London ( https://iop.eventsair.com/msl2025 ) and this question was discussed with the audience. The take home of this first conversation was a general interest, with several feelings on the possible implementation strategy.

To properly gauge the opinion of the community, we created a (short, I promise) online survey, and a mailing list to keep everyone informed of the next steps.
