Subject: You're invited to run a Study Jam on Android for Beginners, Feb 1 - May 1
Happy 2016 from Google!
What's a better New Year's resolution than learning something new?
We've heard your demand for more Study Jams, and are launching a new Study Jams series on Udacity's
Android for Beginners course. This is a great opportunity to bring tech newbies into your community, or introduce existing developers to Android. We hope this study group event format is valuable for your group!
Everything you need to know about what Study Jams are, and how to run one, is in the
Organizer Guide.*
*You must be subscribed to either this gdg-leads-announce@, gdg-leads@ or study-jam-leads@ list to view.
Key points:
- Hold your Study Jams sessions between Feb 1 and May 1 to be part of this series
- Anyone in your community who meets the facilitator requirements may be facilitator; this does not need to be a GDG organizer.
- The objective of Study Jams is to maximize student learning in a community setting, which we measure through course completion rate. Use a Study Jams session structure that you feel will best meet the needs of your community members. We will ask for feedback on your chosen structure in the end-of series Organizer Survey.
- Help us track the success of this series by ensuring all students enroll for the course via this tracking link: https://www.udacity.com/account/affiliate/GoogleStudyJams
Thanks for making your GDG a hub for learning!
