Subject: [WTO-INTL] March Stocktaking...

Hi Everyone,

It looks like the March stock taking will take place the week of March 29th.  They have decided to put off a decision on whether  a ministerial meeting takes place after that.  As of now, there will be a senior officials level meeting in Geneva the week of March 29th.  They will identify “gaps” that still need to be addressed and there is a possibility of revised Doha texts following this meeting.

They have put off a decision to have a ministerial because the US is still opposing the idea.  But other major countries like the EU, China, Brazil and India have said they are ok with having a ministerial following the stock taking.

Will let you know as we find out more details.

Best,

Shefali
