Not sure if you already figured out the fix but I just updated adobe CC apps and the number labeling stopped working for me too. I went under the label tab, and unselected the top option (use command for shortcuts) and it works again. Hope this helps someone!

I've been having this very issue and it's been horrible, was to apoint of just deleting bridge and look for a different work flow.
Until I chose to uninstall bridge completely and restarted my computer (for good measure) and reinstalled Bridge 2023 and did not import past settings and wa la...it's back working to what I have been use to for so long...

If XnViewMP (or any of the myriad of better-than-bridge alternatives) were able to open raws in bulk direct to ACR without opening Ps I would jump in an instant. I personally use PhotoMechanic to ingest, label and cull images before I open the trimmed down folder in Bridge (so it doesn't have to do any real work!)

Same here! I see some suggestions for other software. Bridge Team! Are you listening? Are you on this?! I've used bridge for 17 years and it's always been pretty good. It's now not usable. I shoot weddings, it's costing me at least 3 hours more to cull. Unacceptable.

Adobe Bridge 2023 is Unusable on both Macbook and iMac. Noticed at first it was very slow then it just kept crashing as it was generating thumbnails. I followed recommendations on this feed -discussions/adobe-bridge-2021-mac-version-causes-very-heavy-gp...

No I didn't bother cause it just kept stopping and the spinning wheel would show up no mater I was doing so I just shut it down and opened older version of bridge. Don't have the patience to keep restarting it. Just hoping an update will fix it sometime in the future.

HI, I have been using bridge for the first time, selected 150 images, made some amendments, but all these changes have now been saved to the original image on the memory card (yes learning point one, copy to pc first.)

I have used Adobe for years but last year I had to get rid of it because I upgraded my OS and CS5 would no longer run on my system. I did not want to pay the $$$$$ subscription fee for newer versions so after looking around I settled on Affinity as my best alternative. Good features and excellent price. One area where it lacks is that I am unable to import large batches of raw files. The application becomes memory bound and slows to a crawl. So what to do? I have used Adobe bridge for years to do sort my raw images and do some preliminary adjustments before sending the picture to Photoshop.

I have started using bridge and in doing so reorganized my keyword list a number of times, without being aware that if all the files with that keyword aren't selected, you end up with duplicate keywords (in italics).

There will be an uninstaller on your machine to do this for you already, normally I'd write out some instructions for you here but in this case it might be easier to give you a link to adobe's instructions which also comes with a really simple video. :-).

Lorraine,
Bridge collections do work as they do in Lightroom Classic. You do not have to create a copy in order to add a photo to a collection. Just create a collection (+ icon at bottom of panel). The drag image from preview area to the Collection. Photos can be from any folder or hard drive. See this Adobe help page for details.
