I very much enjoyed all the martial arts action in Krrish. I thought that they were done pretty well for a Bollywood movie. Can anyone tell me about other Bollywood movies that have good martial arts sequences in them?

LOL.....hahahaha...try "NONE". Krrish was the first of it's kind and most of the budget went to hiring a Chinese martial arts choreographer for the action and fight scenes. You should try watching Chinese movies if you're looking for this kind of action.

I know, I'm a big fan of Asian martial arts and other foreign martial arts films as well. But lately I've been getting into Bollywood movies and I was just hoping that there would be some kickass fighting in there, too. Oh well. Maybe as time goes by they'll start getting more of that into their films too. *crosses fingers*

Krrish is the first of it's kind to incorporate hardcore martial arts.
There are some other Bollywood films, such as Awara Pagal Deewana, which has the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon choreographers working on it. It has a novelty martial arts scene, but it is really bad and derivative, and hardly worth seeing.

For action and fighting scenes in general, the best I've seen in Bollywood(other than Krrish) is Dhoom 2, Don, Qayamat, Zameen and Dus. Don and Dhoom 2 in particular, and they are well worth watching. There are a few war sequence in Taj Mahal which are definitely worth watching.

In general, the action genre is only just taking flight. There have been action films before in Bollywood, but they've never been anything special, limited by budget. As of late, because Bollywood films are becoming more and more expensive, they are able to mount bigger action films and use visual effects(hence why sci fi is taking birth)

By the way, do watch the Bollywood super epic classic Mughal-e-azam, it has some brilliant battle sequences.

IMO it could have been better.Frankly Hrithik has great amount of potential on the action front which needs to be explored. In this film the only part where I felt Hrithik went strong was when He started to put up the sword show that Chris Lee fumbled to do.Hrithik is immensely flexible & hence can perform this with ease.If you take rest of the parts then it's strictly OK.

Indian cinema is yet to mature on Martial arts implementation front.Blatant ripping of action sequences from Hollywood movies isn't going to help us anywhere.Aawara Pagal Deewana was a prime examples of the same aspect.Barring that I think Mission Kashmir has some good slow motion camera implementation where Hrithik shows some good action potential.Qayamat at times felt great.Take Fiza where Hrithik was able to train himself in the Song 'Mere Watan' & show some excellent Martial Art moves. So Indian cinema does have some trick up it's sleeves but it's only time that will tell if they improve or degrade.
