Updated Cult Com Budget (as it stands), and carpe diem expenditure we must make

Our exact remaining budget as it stands now:

Heads

1. Carpe Diem- Rs 1, 48,000

2. Summons- Rs 67,000

3. Workshop- Rs 2500

TOTAL: Rs 2, 42,000

And 15,000 earmarked for the film fest which they didn't claim and which I've given up for Devangshu to re-allocate (we may end up asking for some of it to be re-allocated to us)

Expenditure we must now incur:

1. Remaining Rs 15,000 to the band (we have already booked their tickets and withdrawn their 50% advance and this will be transferred Tuesday morning)

2. Rs 35,000 to DJ Kan-I (this is his entire amount)

3. Rs 90,000- Speaker rental (3 days) + stage and ceiling cover (estimated based on last year, minus cost of stalls which will come from the hostel committee budget, we need to call him)

4. Rs 50,000 (estimated) equipment as per the band's tech rider

5. Rs 50,000 (estimated) equipment as per DJ Kan-I's tech rider

6. Rs 4000 for 2 packs of 50 sky lanterns (see http://www.indiaskylanterns.com/)

TOTAL: Rs 2, 40,000

Please note that the estimated cost of equipment for both the band and DJ have been made on the higher side to be safe, these sums will probably be less.

haha really? If they provide the rubix cube, rules of the event and organise it, it should be fine. Just tell them to talk to me on tuesday so I can figure it into the schedule. I also dont know how many people in other batches would participate in this

good news, hostel com is taking care of the stage and speaker costs completely, so we're good to go with the rest
