We currently have fibre connection with Rogers and are transitioning to a new connection with Bell (lower cost, more IP's, faster speeds). I have my Untangle firewall (free version) setup with both connections as WAN's. I've reconfigured my port forwards (rdp, smtp, owa, and a few others) to be addressed to the ip specifically instead of using the "destined local" rule so that I know they are working on the new Bell connection. My final step is to transition the MX record 'et-al' and letting that propagate before switching off the Rogers connection.
2- I changed my port forwards from "destined local" to "destined to address" using the IP block from the new ISP. I only had one IP address with the previous ISP and now I have a /24 so this is a very important step to remember as the port forwards are being changed over to the new connection.
Untangle is a security software company that creates a firewall product currently called Next Generation Firewall (NG Firewall). They have been around since 2003, founded as Metavize and renaming to Untangle in 2007.

Have you gone into the BIOS of the Dell and enabled CSM/Legacy mode and disable UEFI/secure boot? Some of the Dell PCs have issues with booting in legacy mode, which is required for Sohops firewall, along with a supported NIC Ethernet card.
I do have UEFI disabled and Legacy enabled. The NIC I have installed I got on Amazon, this is what I have installed: XZSNET Gigabit Network Card with Intel 82576 Chip, 1GB PCI-E NIC Compare to Intel E1G42ET, Dual RJ45 Port PCI Express X1 Ethernet Adapter Support Windows/Windows Server/Linux/Freebsd/VMware ESXi
