I have been wearing glasses since I was about 6 years old and I have to say that Clarus Eye Centre is the most thorough and friendly place I have ever gone to for eye care. They looked at every aspect of my vision, listened to my concerns and gave me all the information I needed to continue to properly care for my eyes. Thank you.

I am so happy with Dr. Clark's approach to treating my eye condition. She listens carefully to everything I tell her. Her treatment plan is thoughtful and complete and I never feel rushed. I am so happy that I found her!

"My husband and I have been patients at Clarus since moving here more than 10 years ago. I can't say enough good about them. They go above and beyond what is usually expected. They treat the patient as well as the eye problem."

Clarus Eye Centre is a team of highly-trained ophthalmologists, optometrists and caring, professional technicians and staff who are all dedicated to helping patients of all ages maintain and improve their eye health.

Our doctors have been trained at some of the most respected eye institutes in the country. They continue to prioritize research and implementation of the latest technologies and treatments available today, raising the bar on routine and advanced eye care in the South Sound Region of Washington and beyond.

Additionally, we will convey the importance of integrating our retina care with yours, in order to optimize the overall visual health of your patient. From start to finish, we will work with you, and reinforce to your patient your role as their continued provider.

Eye care can be expensive. The good news is that there are programs that offer free or low-cost eye exams and eyeglasses. Some health insurance plans also provide free vision screenings and help to cover the cost of other eye care services, too.

Under a law called the Affordable Care Act, many health insurance plans are required to cover the full cost of vision screenings for children and teens (up to age 19). Health insurance plans may also help cover the cost of eye care for eye diseases like cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and glaucoma.

Medicaid and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) are government programs that offer free or low-cost health insurance for children in families with low incomes. Medicaid and CHIP cover the cost of vision care for children. Keep in mind that each state has different rules to qualify for these programs.
