Ihave a different problem with menue. it is now disapeared and has only one or cyrcle left. all Copy, scan, print cyrcle disappeard and left one icon saying hide shortcut menue and hide screen menue. how can i bring back the whole menue on the right bottom corener?

If the Quick Menu is running but is not displayed, you can get it to display by double-clicking on its icon in the Windows task tray. The icon looks like this: . Once the the menu is open, you can display the Main Menu of the Quick Menu by clicking on the button in the bottom-right corner.

Should you continue to experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative at one of the methods provided here for further assistance. A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.

I had exactly same problem with Windows 10 with multiple monitors.

Finally I found is just a lack of quick menu position, which remains located out of screen position time to time (moreover if you used to move to another area near right/down screen).

I use an iMac with Yosemite OSI and an MG7520 printer. notice on my MG7500 series Quick Menu that the Print as well as Device setings and maintenance toolbars have no icons; they're blank. The Scan, Web services, and Manual and device information has icons.

You can install the My Printer application from the Canon USA website to see if this will resolve the issue. Please click here to go to the Drivers and Software page for the PIXMA MG7520. Once on the initial download page for your model, please do the following:

1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop-down menu is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system.

2. Next, please click on the red arrow next to the "SOFTWARE" section and click the MY PRINTER file. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click on the checkbox below the DOWNLOAD button, then click the red DOWNLOAD button to begin the download. The time for the download process may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.

Once you have downloaded the file, please double-click on it to install it on your Mac.

Hope this helps!

I just purchased/installed a new PIXMA TR4522. Canon Quick Menu does not recognize the printer at all, when I start QUick Menu nothing except Easy Album Ordering Service and My Image Garden. I've went through the installation process several time for the printer and Quick Menu and no luck, I can't even select a printer from the preferences menu, the printer and scanner drop-down selection bars are blank.

The Quick Menu is not supported for use with the TR4522. On Windows, you may access the optional software through the Start menu (Drag and drop to create new panels in the right side of the Start menu), or through pinning it to the Taskbar while it is open (Right-click the icon on the task bar and select Pin to taskbar). For Mac OS, you may quick-link the icon by dragging it onto the dock; the core executables may be found in the Applications folder >> Canon Utilities folder.

So I have an SL3 on pre-order. I noted that the 'Favourites' menu has gone, something I rely on a lot with the SL2. I also note that the quick menu is now configurable, which is great, but according to the manual the selectable options are quite limited (I'm guessing/hoping this might be expanded with firmware updates). I've been 'mapping' the controls I like to have at my fingertips on the SL2 and reflecting how to acheive something similar with the SL3.

(edit) One more point is that although Favourites is gone, some of the items I would like to include there are anyway on the first page of the main menu, which kind of becomes a new Favourites in the sense they will only be one click away.

I initially missed the favorites menu, but have mapped all I really need to the customisable control centre. In addition, there are the many icons around the top and right of the LCD screen that you can hold down and change the settings for, effectively giving you a much larger control screen.

Thanks Carrot. I had noticed that the "info bars" are now also interactive, but I usually have those completely turned off as I find them distracting. Will have to play with this whenever I get the new camera. Is it possible to remove some of them altogether (to make it less busy) or you can only switch them to other functions?

PS. i don't like the touch option on the side, for example, the Profiles selection with click and slide it a hit-and-miss.

plus it is not always there. if I switch to video, the profiles disappear altogether.

Yes, I am assuming they might return the Favourites menu if they get a lot of requests, but overall it sounds quite ok as is. I'll find out when I get the camera. For Format I have always used the Quick Menu (CL, M, SL2) and I like it there. 'Horses for courses' and it demonstrates that configurability is most important.

One additional reason is using the camera in arctic conditions - where I can just about manage the with Favourites menu with gloves using joystick and buttons , but not the Quick Menu. After many winters here in Finland my hands quickly get frozen without gloves and then it's game over until I can (painfully) thaw them out.

In Favorites you'll find training targets that you have saved as favorites in the Flow web service, and synced to your watch. Choose a favorite training target you want to perform. After your choice, the watch returns to the pre-training mode where you can start the training session.

To add interval timer to your training views for the session, choose Timer for this session > On. You can use a previously set timer or create a new timer by returning to the quick menu and choosing Interval timer > Set timers:

To add countdown timer to your training views for the session, choose Timer for this session > On. You can use a previously set timer or create a new timer by returning to the quick menu and choosing Countdown timer > Set timer. Set the countdown time, and tap to confirm. When completed, the watch returns to pre-training mode where you can start the training session. The timer starts when you start the training session.

When you choose a training target for your session, the Favorites and Training suggestions options are crossed out in the quick menu. This is because you can only choose one target for the session. To change the target, choose the crossed out option and you will be asked if you want to change your target. Confirm another target by tapping .

Description of the issue: When I try to double click the icon to brave in the start menu, on the desktop or from the taskbar, Brave will not open. To open a Brave window, I have to use an existing window and middle click/right click open in new window on a link.

Now try launching the browser from a shortcut/quick launch icon and see if you get the same results. If the browser launches as intended, all you need to do to get your data back is to go to the same directory listed above, and replace the newly installed User data directory with the one that you saved in the steps above.

In Windows 11, double-clicking the Bluetooth icon in the system tray opens the menu in the below screenshot. Is there a way to directly open this menu with a keyboard shortcut? If not, then is there a command that works via the Run menu or a command prompt, which I could then map to a keyboard shortcut using AutoHotkey?

Note the menu to choose Bluetooth devices from quick settings was only recently added to Windows 11, starting with insider builds in February 2022, so if you don't see it make sure you're on the latest version of Windows 11

You may use the btdiscovery command to list all Bluetooth devices withtheir MAC address, then create batch scripts with shortcuts to connect ordisconnect individual devices that were previously paired.

If you have an advanced Logitech mouse, such as the MX Master 3 (which is what I have), then you can attach a smart action to one of the buttons on the mouse within their Logi Options+ program. The advanced mouse comes with multiple buttons and scroll options that you can customize pretty significantly.

This was driving me crazy, as I am often connected to bluetooth headphones, and switching between my phone and computer. Really frustrating Win11 had done away with the win+k shortcut to the paired devices. My solution is to use AHK, and a powershell script.

Your Galaxy device gives you tons of control options - and you don't even need to go looking for them. The Quick panel on your Galaxy phone or tablet lets you access and use different functions easily. For example, you can turn on Airplane Mode, mute your device's sound, or rearrange the buttons any way you choose.

To do this, open the Quick panel by swiping down from the top of the screen using two fingers. Then, tap the name of the feature under the icon. For example, if you want to access the Flashlight settings, tap the word Flashlight.

A setting menu will automatically appear. Sometimes, you may need to tap Details to be taken to the full settings page. Also, please note that certain settings might be grayed out or will not appear if the feature is turned off (e.g., Wi-Fi networks may not show if Wi-Fi is turned off).
