Badrah 1 Default notice from Nakheel

Hello All,

 

Today I received this default notice from Nakheel for my Badrah 1 unit.

 

Has anybody else recd the same? And what should be the next steps?

 

Just for information sake....all correspondence, contracts, payments are to and from Dubai Waterfront LLC. So basically a petition to cancel Waterfront must include Badrah

Dear Sir/Madam,
 
Whereas you are in default of your obligations under the Sale and Purchase Agreement made between you and Dubai Waterfront LLC in relation to the above-referenced property (the “Agreement”) in that you have failed to pay installment due on 1st December 2008.
 
We hereby give you this Notice of Default requiring that you settle the outstanding amount due together with contractual compensation within thirty (30) days from the date of this notice. 
 
In the event that you fail to pay all the sums due within thirty (30) days as aforesaid, we will be entitled to regard the Agreement as being rescinded by you with the payments made forfeited in accordance with the Agreement and at law in addition to the contractual compensation that will continue to accrue.
