How can I go back to the previous firmware? Whenever I go into the settings via the web I try to manually select an EE network but it seems to pivot to o2 by default - not sure if that's a fault with the firmware upgrade.
Solution was to add a secondary APN (default is 'btinernet.bt.com', secondary is 'everywhere'), set the connection to 4G only, change to a different APN (default --> secondary) and it started working. Then we changed it from 4G to 4G+5G and then back to the default APN.
The device had been on showing downloading firmware update since last night, stuck at 0%. Can I restart the device or should I just wait for it? My concern is that the screen is on all the time. Having the arcadyan gateway.
What is going on with this gateway? This is about the 3rd or 4th time it goes into this download firmware and just stays at 0%. Should this thing be replaced? Do you all have something faulty going on here?
Well, what do i know?
Overnight, the 0% download disappeared and the status bar is now 4. It has always been 3 bars. And SpeedTest is showing reasonable boost up to 260 mbps; used to hover 150-200.
Over the previous month or two, I have received multiple notifications via the SyncUp app regarding device firmware update failures. Numerous phone calls to T-Mobile technical support failed to resolve the issue. The majority of the T-Mobile technical support representatives I have spoken with are woefully ignorant about their own SyncUp Tracker device. Some T-Mobile phone support employees claim to be SyncUp Tracker technical support experts, but soon into the conversation it becomes obvious they are hardly familiar with the most rudimentary functions of the product.
I think I can answer everybody's question here. All right so there's a couple different generations of the sync up drive Not sure if you have the original generation because I ran into an issue where something happened I can't remember for the life of me but T-Mobile replaced it and ended up giving me the new generation and I've never had the problem you guys are discussing. So ask T-Mobile to replace your device with the newest generation and you should be okay that's the only thing I can think of to do
If you're looking for CF-Auto-Root, please first select your device to proceed to the firmware overview page, then select the firmware you want to create a package for. On the firmware detail page, there's a button to configure CF-Auto-Root near the bottom.
I got the new 6g modem today an it won't work because firmware needs updating i click update while I'm in the modem settings an it ask me for file to update it with . So mine will not work an call center is a joke 2hr waits never call back . It's a joke
I have been told they would have it by Wednesday, April 27, 2021, but the information I have received from Customer Service has not proved to be reliable. I bought the Line-Link for VOIP and it took me several phone calls before someone told me it would not connect to 5 G.
I have been unable to get into the settings on my Gateway - how do you know what firmware you have?
Well today isn't over yet, so there is still hope for the upgrade. As for accessing your gateway, from a PC or MAC go to. 192.168.12.1. You should see the overview page. On the very right side is Software Version. The current version is 1.2003.03.0168. So we want to see a higher number for the new version that gets released. Otherwise you can use the Home Internet App on your phone and at the bottom (android version) click on MORE and then click on GATEWAY INFORMATION. The FIRMWARE VERSION is the first thing listed.
Maybe you changed the password at some point? You can do a reset by pressing the button on the back of the unit but then you would have to do any setup you have done previously again. Doing the login gives you the ability to change the ssid name and passwords , etc .
I spoke to Customer Service a couple days ago, regarding the new upgraded gateway I finally received after 2+ months. It does connect to more wi-fi devices, however it does not work with voip phone service. Through a multitude of CSR calls regarding this gateway, I was not informed that it would not work with my voip service until after it was connected and found it would not send or receive calls. This is my business number so this is a huge problem. A lengthy conversation, resetting the router, did not help. I was told no voip service would work without a firmware update. Engineers are working on it, no projected timeline. Would have been nice to have been informed of this deficiency before connecting the new and sending back my old gateway. I may have to switch from T-mobil internet service and find another provider in order to have voip service for my business line.

I updated Universal Control Panel today and now my studio mobile 192 is Unresponsive. The light just stays red when hooked up. Doesn't even show up in the control panel anymore. It used to show up and say "DSP v(Invalid) / USB v0.00 / Bootloader v0.00" tried different usb cables and ports. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers can't seem to get it to work now. Also tried to update firmware again but it just says "the attached hardware is already up to date. The ctrl+alt and clicking update doesn't work to force it to update again.
1. Power off the Studio 192.
2. Whilst holding down the '48V' and 'Cue' buttons, power on the Studio 192 (this will boot the Studio 192 into Load mode).
3. Open the Universal Control application and try to force the firmware update again.
Should this still not resolve the firmware issue, please try connecting the Studio 192 to your computer using a USB 2.0 cable and then repeat the above steps.
I looking for any info about creating firmware for button phones and people, who did it. Try to find firmware with open source code, try to find documentation, but no result. I found only Simbian OS from Nokia on github, but dont now how to compile and launch it.
I still have no success, I have tried both and the problem persists. I have not had this problem before, I have always configured with claro.pe without problems. With this firmware the problem has occurred.
Install firmware 30.3 Beta, however the problem remains. I have tried another SIM Card to rule out problems with the SIM Card but I cannot connect the RS2 to the mobile network. I am attaching (email) the report of the equipment with the new firmware installed. The SIM Cards in the phones can be connected to the Internet without problems, they are not blocked, thus ruling out that the SIM Cards are the problem.
I want to go back to firmware 28.4 however the app forces me to update to 29.2
How about posting your answer in the forum, where everyone can see it? Maybe more than one person is having this issue, no? PMs are a poor substitute for a properly written user manual with a trouble shooting section.
I am also having issues with mobile data. I am getting a connection and RTK on startup and can sometimes work for quite a while with no issues. But then RTK will drop indefinitely, if I go to Emilid flow and check the status, mobile data is turned off and I cannot use the switch to turn it back on.
I already updated it to firmware 30 and the problem persists, I have flashed it several times but nothing.
I see that there are many bugs in the new firmwares, a truth to which we cannot close our eyes.
Just thought of another question. Will upgrading the firmware on the older surflink mobile give me any performance improvements in terms of interference? or does that require the new 900-sync as well.
XDA Developers was founded by developers, for developers. It is now a valuable resource for people who want to make the most of their mobile devices, from customizing the look and feel to adding new functionality.
I have noticed when updating the firmware in a Watchguard, the Mobile VPN with SSL client also updates.
I think older versions of the client carry on working but I have noticed some older versions stop working.
Is it documented somewhere the minimum version of the client for each firmware version?
Thank you.
