As a Christian (practicing), what has been engrained in you to be off
limits in speaking or thinking aloud about in mixed company?

Well, there's the obvious category of sexual brokenness.. Many
subjects within that realm are largely held as inappropriate to speak
of around your opposite gender or children. Gay stuff is no more a
taboo than straight brokenness, but usually isn't shared 'cause it's
just plain embarrassing, and has been overblown by many Christian
cultures.

sexual brokenness is strange term for me.  I have seen it used on several religious sites but to answer or heal a hurt, clarification is needed.  What does sexual brokenness mean to you?

Golly.. let's see if I can do this quick:
Sexual brokenness is a state or condition in which a person has sexual
behaviors, desires or inclinations outside or apart from God's design
for human sexuality. Often times these behaviors or inclinations are
not by choice and seem natural. Examples of sexual brokenness can be
same sex attraction or pornography addiction. Many people who
experience sexual brokenness were victims of psychological trauma
during childhood.

This is what I understand sexual brokenness is.
