Nairobi Ultimate Club Elections - August 12 @ 7pm!

Hi folks!

I have some bittersweet news! The first is that after almost 2 years, I am stepping down from my role as President of Nairobi Ultimate Club. Don't worry though, I'm not going anywhere and plan to stay very involved. 

On the flip side, this means that on Sunday, August 12th at 7pm, we will be having our first ever Nairobi Ultimate Club elections!  We'll have it at the nyama choma place across of the UN Rec Fields after practice here: https://goo.gl/maps/Nxa3qyT9G8U2

The open positions are:

1) Nairobi Ultimate Club President

2) Nairobi Ultimate Club Vice President

3) Nairobi Ultimate Club Treasurer

4) Nairobi Ultimate Club Secretary

The election will proceed as following:

1) All applications submitted by August 8

2) Applications are reviewed by Board of Advisors by August 11

3) Elections begin on August 12 at 7pm

4) Candidates for President deliver 2-5 minute speeches

5) Candidates for VP, Treasurer, and Secretary give 2 minute speeches (note all presidential candidates are automatically considered for these three positions too)

6) Vote for President (majority wins, if no majority, a run off between top 2 candidates)

7) A Vote of Approval for each Executive Committee candidate (must get > 50% approval to be eligible)

8) President and Board of Advisors select the VP, Treasurer, and Secretary

9) New Executive Committee is formed!
