Transition Chairman

Dear Kathy,

The Chairman of Transition Authority, Mr Samuel Kinuthia Wamwangi, has indicated that he will be attending the presentation of wheelchairs as well as installation dinner for our new club officials on July 18, 2012. 

As you will be aware Transition Authority will oversee, coordinate and facilitate the transfer of governance the now constitutionally devolved system for three years after the first General Elections under the New Constitution. He rang me up this evening to say that he has already blocked the day in our favour. Unless an urgent and unforeseen state function calls, he will be my guest, and therefore your guest on that day. 

This is to propose that you coordinate with the outgoing President to introduce this senior State Official. Rotarian John Gikonyo is not likely to attend the oncoming event. Mr Wamwangi won't take more five minutes to explain his work. Attached please find a copy of The Transition To Devolved Government Act, 2012 for your advance familiarization with the work ahead of Transition Authority. 

I hope to send you and the members a reviewed list of potential beneficiaries of the donated wheelchairs by tomorrow afternoon. Mrs  Zipporah is no longer on the emerging list but her son in law, Pastor John Maromba, has promised to attend our presentation and dinner.
