Dear Mme President,
I stumbled on this one through LinkedIn.  Is this something we can handle?

Regards,

Joyce

Mark Evans Kirkpatrick has started a discussion: Solar Cooker Project (500-600 units @ <$10/unit) in East Africa

"I just left a meeting with a fellow Rotarian. We are planning a grant which will provide Solar Cookers to a refugee camp in East Africa. I would like to find a Rotary partner to receive the Cookers and handle logistics on the ground. These cookers are water resistant. Provided are cooker, 4 qt. pot w/top, and a wired pot encasing to elevate. Only one turkey bag needed without replacement (does not come in contact with food vapors. Contact me for more information."

Madams President and Rtn Joyce,

Thanks for the sharing.... Let us get communities services rolling to those who need them....

Let us also think of large scales solar cookers for institutions such as hospitals and schools.

I am beginning to look forward to fellowships....

Peter
