Jambo,
Please find attached documentation on how to install Slackware Linux & compile the Linux Kernel:
> Installation of Slackware Linux - applicable to all versions of Slackware (installation medium may vary, floppy disks from way back in 1999 then CD ROM & l8tr Flash disks or network/internet install)
> Compiling of Linux kernel is applicable for older versions of Slackware - newer versions of Slackware use package upgrade tool call "slackpkg"
> Also, compiling of the older Slackware Linux kernel is applicable to using the stock kernels available after install or upgrading from
www.kernel.org as older Linux versions of did not automatically detect hardware, drivers or filesystems at startup (e.g. network cards, video cards, sound cards, smbfs, ntfs, ....)
Please note that documentation is more than 15 years old but may still be useful.
Cheers & Enjoy!
