Some time back in 2019, a client  had problems using the ZKTIME software with ZKTECO F18 biometric unit, the software (ZKTIME) was too complicated to install & use as well it had a certain cost implication.

A few cups of coffee later ... ASIS biometric software was created and it and had two components:

1) HARDWARE -  reading data from ZKTECO F18 unit & store the data into a database

2) SOFTWARE - reading data from DB and displaying a user friendly time and attendance chart (present & absent as well as arrival & departure times)
