So check this out, SPDY a protocol from Google which lives on TLS, and is basically what HTTP/2 is being based on.  Using this extension in Firefox or Chrome, you can see if a site is using SPDY and (surprise!) HTTP/2.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/spdy-indicator/

I guess Firefox 34.0 enabled HTTP/2's current draft, because now I'm seeing a bunch of servers that support it already.  Google.com, twitter.com, etc.  Pretty cool!

Here are some more resources about TLS and HTTP/2:

Enjoy!

Also note, the nginx TLS configs for my blogs is available on GitHub with full commit history and comments:

Excellent!

These NGINX TLS configs are a solid start.

on the same note, we should also have a look at QUIC(Quick UDP Internet Connections) - an experimental protocol developed by Google aimed at reducing web latency over that of TCP.

HTTPie, a cURL like tool for humans, can prove useful in getting http headers from http servers
