Happy New Years LUGers,

Let's hope 2021 is better than 2020. And to that end we shall be
having the first meetup of the year this Saturday, 9th January 2021.
The meetup will be held virtually over on the Discord channel:
https://discordapp.com/invite/pxbFbdC (if the medium changes e.g.
Jitsi, it'll be updated on Discord)

The meetup typically begins at 3.45pm and we usually hang out for at
least a couple of hours. Don't worry about joining late (it's almost a
tradition).
We are a motley gang of people interested in a broad number of topics
typically centered around Linux and Open Source.
Occasionally someone presents something they are passionate about (a
project, a subject etc).

This weekend, Boniface will be presenting.

You can also have a look at past presentations here:
https://github.com/nairobilug/presentations and

If you'd like to present a talk, send an email proposal to nairo...@gmail.com.
Anything as simple as "I'd like to talk about systemd" will be considered.

You can also follow the LUG all month long via the following channels:
- Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/pxbFbdC
- IRC: #nairobilug (http://freenode.net)
- Telegram: https://telegram.me/joinchat/DB08UUD-SgWrieO1ecqCcg
- Twitter: https://twitter.com/nairobilug
- Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn8xZY-AQMZ0RBy6EBPsvvQ

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during the pandemic. See
you on Saturday.

We traditionally meet on the first Saturday of every month. Meetups are free
and open to the public (there is no level of technical expertise required to
attend). Have something to show off to the group? Want to be a speaker? Have an
idea for the community? Reach out at nairo...@gmail.com

Rexxor
