Brethren,

Allow me to begin with an apology; this email was to be delivered to you on Monday as initially promised but I’ve been holding off until I was able to get confirmation on a few things. I’m sorry for the delay.

== Self Study Week ==

We will not meet this Sabbath afternoon for Bible study as we will be partaking of the Lord’s Supper and there will family Sabbath thereafter. This however doesn’t mean that we will not progress with our studies. Kindly find time to study the next lesson in our series -'The Vicar of Christ'. NOTE: It is **very important** that you keep up with each study as each one forms a foundation for the next one.

== Malindi Evangelism ==

By God's Grace, we plan to start our weekly trips to Malindi starting weekend of 15th to 17th July 2016. Every weekend, 5 people will travel to Malindi to engage in Bible Study, Door-to-Door visits and Medical Missionary work.

Each person will bear the cost of transport (public means). I've contacted Modern Coast (http://modern.co.ke) and they have a bus that leaves every Friday morning 6:30 am and evening 7:30 pm and returns from Malindi every Sunday morning at 7:30 am and evening at 7:30 pm. The costs are as follows: VIP KES 1700, First Class KES 1500 and Business Class KES 1300.

== Ambassadors Annual Retreat ==

This retreat is targeted at those currently attending University or College. Details as follows:

Date: 16th & 17th July 2016

Venue: Brackenhurst Conference Centre

Speakers: Dr. & Mrs. Elijah Kwasa

Theme: Be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Key text:  3 John 1: 2-4: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Cost: KES 3,000

Hi Simeon,

 

Thanks for the wonderful and detailed update. 

 

On the family Sabbath issue, we had previously agreed that there will still be bible study.  For most of us, the bible study group is our family that we will spend time with.  This will help avoid going to spend time in our own pleasures and even parking lot meetings.

 

I would also like to encourage more Ambassadors to plan to attend the bible study meetings.  Most of the group members that used to attend when we had meetings at MAPS are conspicuously absent, can we make follow up on that?
