Before you can start using the Bibles in the program, you will need to install and register them in the program. We offer in-depth installation instructions for this here in our KnowledgeBase. Installing Bibles in ProPresenter

There are three different ways to search for the passages of scripture that you need. You can either select from the Book menu, enter a specific passage or search for keywords. This is all handled by the bar at the top of the window.

You may also notice a plus (+) sign next to the main translation. ProPresenter also allows you to add multiple translations to your slides! Simply click the plus (+) button to make your secondary selection! More information on this feature is available here.

The best option to use, as with any presentation, is to apply a Theme based on the text formatting you wish to use for the presentation. You can either apply a Theme that's already inside of the program or create a new Theme that best fits your setup. Below, we'll explain how to create a new Theme for your scripture.

There are two locations in which you can create a Theme from which will contain the template you create for bibles for the purpose of this article we will stay within the bible app. Here go to Slide options and you will see the template selector click the small arrow and in this menu select the New Theme this will open the Theme Editor, which is similar to the standard Editor.

If you are creating a Bible Theme with the same style for both verse and reference, you would just add one text box to the slide. To add a text box you would use the plus (+) sign in the upper left of the editor area.

You then would choose that text box in the Verse dropdown at the top of the Bible toolbar. Under Reference, choosing With Verse will allow the reference to show in the same text box and formatting as the verse. It should look like this:

Once you have found the passage that you want to use, click on the action (cog) menu in the lower-left corner and choose either Save as Presentation, Copy to Current Presentation, or Save to Playlist.

The Copy to Current Presentation option will add the passage to the presentation that is currently selected in the library or a playlist. This option makes it much easier for you to prepare a single presentation for a sermon. If no slide is selected in the current presentation, these slides will be added at the end of the presentation. If a slide is selected in the current presentation, these slides will be added after that highlighted slide.

The Save to Selected Playlist option will create a new presentation in the Library selected in the Slide Options with the title of the passage and then automatically add that presentation to the selected Playlist. If no presentation in the Playlist is selected, this presentation will be added at the end of the Playlist. If a presentation is selected in the Playlist, this presentation will be added after that highlighted presentation.

You can easily add the previous or next verse to a passage by clicking on the Previous Verse or Next Verse buttons. The purpose of this feature is to be used in a live environment when you quickly need to display a slide that is close by to the passage, but not in the original presentation.

These two buttons are available in the Bible window as well as on Bible presentations in the Library. In the example below, clicking the previous button would add John 3:11 to the screen... clicking the next button would add John 3:20 to the screen.

This feature can also move between chapters. Hitting the "Previous Verse" button on the first verse of a chapter would move to the last verse of the previous chapter. The same would occur with the "Next Verse" button moving forward to the next chapter.

There is an overwhelming number of products to choose from when it comes to church presentation software these days! Back in 1999, church services had one choice: PowerPoint. Then, on March 8, 2000, if you were looking for better software for your church, your world was changed radically with the introduction of the first worship services software specifically for the church: MediaShout.

A lot has changed in 21 years. Churches are called to be good stewards of what God has given them. With so many choices, churches need to clearly understand what is under the hood of the worship software solution that they are evaluating. How many computers do they need to install it on? And equally as important, what bibles come with the worship presentation software?

Public domain bibles are those that are not copyrighted. These are bibles that there are no legal restrictions on copying or publishing them. No publisher is paid for these bibles. Sometimes, the bibles a church uses fits perfectly into what is included in the MediaShout 7 (Single) version. Some use the King James version, or American Standard version for example.

Published bibles are those where each publisher (such as Zondervan) receives royalties. Some of those published bibles are the New International Version (NIV), New Living Translation (NLT), The Message, New King James Version (NKJV), and many more.

EasyWorship is subscription-based and pricing depends on the attendance size of your church. EasyWorship does offer some free bibles (40 to choose from their bibles download page here). EasyWorship does have more bibles, but charges for each individual Bible needed. The prices range from $14-$39.

ProPresenter (Seat) comes with (1) activation (you can install ProPresenter on one computer at a time) and it comes with 46 free public domain bibles. Public domain bibles are those that are not copyrighted.

ProPresenter (Campus) is for Houses of Worship only and comes with a campus license (This allows you to install ProPresenter on up to 20 computers in one location). It also comes with 46 public domain bibles. ProPresenter has 52 individual paid bibles to choose from. The bibles are $15 each, per computer.

OpenLP is the best FREE church presentation software for 2021. It is open-source church presentation software. OpenLP comes with 30 free, public domain bibles. No bibles can be purchased to add to the software.

Having the correct bible versions is extremely important for your church service and worship software. Knowing the costs involved before you purchase is also important. We hope this article has helped guide you and your ministry when it comes time to project bible verses on the screen, and what suits your needs the most.

ProPresenter has many different features that allow you to modify how you create presentations, how you trigger them to your screen and what specifically goes into those slides. As you dig into each of these items, you'll see new and exciting ways to convey your messages across to those viewing your presentations!

The Announcement Layer gives you the ability to have a second presentation running simultaneously with your normal presentations for your service or show. For example, if you have screens in your lobby that you want to send an announcement loop or other content to during a service or show, you can use the announcement layer to do that from the same computer.

Then, you can start that Presentation and then click on any other Presentation (that is set to send to the Presentation Layer) and that will send to your other Audience Screens while not affecting the Announcements Layer.

ProPresenter's audio engine allows for inputs from multiple audio devices to be routed in to any of up to 16 internal ProPresenter audio channels. These can then be routed out to the channels of a primary audio output device, as well as SDI/NDI feeds with separate routing. For example, you can input any or all of the channels coming into your computer from a mixing console to ProPresenter's internal channels, specify the internal channels used for any audio or video played back from ProPresenter, and route these ProPresenter channels to the channels of your output device.

The left side of the Audio Routing window shows you one Pro Channel for each Channel Count set in Preferences. Click on the channel name to rename it. To the right are 16 channels that you can output to. Not all devices support 16 channels, so selecting cells in columns higher than your device supports may result in unpredictable results.

On the top left of the routing windowpane, you can click on the M to mute all of the channels. If you have one or more channels solo'd, click the S in the top left to turn them all off at the same time. Click on the Mapping drop-down and select Auto to automatically route ProPresenter channels to their counterparts on the output (1:1: 2:2, etc.). Clear removes all of the current routes.

Media played back in ProPresenter can also be routed to specific ProPresenter Channels. By default, the audio channels of your media will be routed to the corresponding ProPresenter channel (1:1, 2:2, etc). You can access individual Audio Routing for a specific Media Action in the Cue Inspector's Audio tab (right click on the media action, choose "Inspector", then select the audio tab on the right of the inspector window). You will only be able to access the Audio tab if the Media Action you're viewing in the Inspector has audio embedded within it.

Just like in the routing for outputs, the inspector's left side lists all of the audio channels for the piece of media that is selected. The top lists the audio channels that are available in ProPresenter.

Click on the cell of the row/column that you want the audio to play in. Click on the Mapping drop-down and select Auto to autofill the cells and Clear to remove all of the selected cells.

Select your Audio Input source and you will see all incoming channels from the Source appear in the bottom part of the window. You can then click the Routing button to choose what channels from the Input go to what channels of your ProPresenter channels.
