Objective: To develop and examine the psychometric properties of the Satisfaction with Information about Medicines Scale (SIMS), a new 17-item tool designed to assess the extent to which patients feel they have received enough information about prescribed medicines.

Methods: Patients from eight diagnostic categories were recruited at hospitals in London and Brighton and completed the SIMS questionnaire during hospital admission or attendance at outpatient clinic appointments. The SIMS was evaluated in terms of its ease of use, internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and criterion related validity using existing self-report measures of adherence and patient beliefs about medicines.

Results: The SIMS was well accepted by patients in a variety of clinical settings and showed satisfactory internal consistency and test-retest reliability. As predicted, higher levels of satisfaction with medicines information were associated with higher levels of reported adherence, and lower levels of satisfaction were associated with stronger concerns about the potential adverse effects of medicines, providing evidence of criterion related validity.

Conclusion: The SIMS performed well on a number of psychometric indicators and shows promise as a tool for audit (measuring patients' satisfaction with information about their prescribed medicines), research (evaluating current or new forms of information provision), and clinical practice (identifying the information needs of individual patients and as an aid to planning medicine related consultations).

Crin shared the Willow Creek build (very nice!) and the Del Sol Valley one with me. The lots have the Out To Pasture flooring tiles placed, not terrain paint. This is why it seems like the terrain tool is not working. You can easily test this by using the eyedropper tool and click on the grass outside on either of these lots. Or just use the sledgehammer outside and drag over an area of grass.

I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge and cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your computer/game.

Please only contact me via PM when asked to do so.

why would you not include a tool? That seems mega strange to me. Your instruction to activate the phone you get with the online store says to transfer the card from one phone to another. Why do i have to find a safety pin or whatever or take it to a store to have them do it. Would it have been better to just buy it at the store then they could have done that and i would not have to try and find a store that is open during covid or stand in line outside the store once i found one? Why are you making me jury rig something instead of just including the little cheep tool?

HeatherBaker, we'll make sure that you can use your replacement. I've been able to use push pins previously to open the SIM card tray. You'll just need something like a pin or safety pin.

6. Last, but by no means least, this tool will be easiest for you to use if you are using CC magic for your CC. However, instructions are included for altering the search folder if you are NOT using CC magic. So again, please read the instructions.

The inside of the sim tool (marked below) sliced my finger as I was demonstrating how to use one. It came from a brand new iPhone SE 2020 right from the box. As I pushed the sim tool into the tray hole, my finger slid along the sim tool and the inside of the tool cut me. WHY IS THIS SHARP?! I bled pretty bad believe it or not and this is outrageous! I demand an answer directly from Apple as to why they left the inside of this sim tool so sharp! THIS IS UNSAFE. Imagine a "paper cut" from a piece of brushed metal that wasn't sanded down correctly. IT HURT and it cut deep enough to draw blood for about a good ten minutes. I would never recommend using these sim tools ever.

We want to make sure you reach the right team for help with your SIM-eject tool. We recommend that you contact Apple Support directly. Depending on your region, you may be able to reach them here: Get Support

First of all, that response was naive. Second, even if it was* operator error, why should I have been cut by this type of tool? There is no reason why Apple should have any sharp edges on this type of tool. Thanks.

You're assuming it is operator error. I was using it exactly how it was intended to be used. So, therefore, it is not operator error. However, I don't doubt that yours doesn't have sharp edges. I've used plenty in the past as well in the same manner I used this one and I've been fine. This one in particular had a sharp edge, though. I appreciate your reply as well.

SIMS Software now offers an integration of the exclusively licensed Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory Foreign Travel Tool into our flagship product, SIMS (Security Information Management System). This integration will provide security stakeholders the ability to further streamline and automate their labor-intensive foreign travel reporting requirements as further defined by SEAD 3 effective August 24, 2022.

The foreign travel reporting component of the Security Executive Agent Directive 3 (SEAD 3) requires all federal contractors to comply with the new foreign travel reporting requirements for all cleared employees and anyone covered under NISPOM.

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory Foreign Travel Tool integration will enable SIMS customers to streamline these reporting requirements while providing a more expansive and interactive web-based user interface for their travelers. The tool will integrate into SIMS Personnel module and the SIMS newly expanded fields for SEAD 3 foreign travel records, allowing customers to leverage SIMS as a centralized system of record to track and report on foreign travel.

Let the online EE-Sim Design Tools design and simulate your power circuit in minutes! To further vet your design before committing to hardware, download the EE-Sim OASIS Simulator which includes both SIMPLIS and SIMetrix SPICE.

The EE-Sim DC-to-DC converter tool uses your requirements to quickly create a complete power design including a schematic, BOM with commercially available parts, and time and frequency domain simulations.

SIMPLIS (SIMulation of Piecewise LInear Systems) is a circuit simulator specifically designed to handle the simulation challenges of switching power systems. Like SPICE, SIMPLIS works at the component level but typically can perform a transient analysis of a switching circuit 10 to 50 times faster. For switching power systems, the piecewise linear (PWL) modeling and simulation techniques employed by SIMPLIS result in qualitatively superior convergence behavior compared to SPICE.

SIMetrix is a general analog and mixed-signal simulator. It includes an enhanced SPICE simulator, a schematic editor, and a waveform viewer in a unified environment. It is easy to use, offers good accuracy and performance as well as rapid convergence for a broad range of analog and mixed-signal design applications.

SIMPLIS was initially developed because SPICE did not simulate switching converters effectively. In this video, Brooks will demonstrate how SIMPLIS simulates switching power converters much faster, avoids convergence issues commonly found in SPICE, and has a built-in linearizing algorithm that quickly produces accurate frequency domain response curves (Bode plots).

Ben walks through how to take accurate power supply bench measurements, and how to import those measurements into OASIS. He then demonstrates how to troubleshoot and verify a design using this method and the MAX17242EVKIT.

See how a senior applications engineer can create a custom DC-to-DC converter design, run simulations, make improvements, and iterate to a hardware-ready design in under an hour using the EE-Sim design tools.

See a demonstration of the most commonly used functionality in EE-Sim. Includes opening a new DC-to-DC design, changing design requirements, creating a schematic, running simulations, comparing designs, and generating a report.

Learn how to simulate a switching power circuit using the EE-Sim OASIS Tool. Built on the SIMPLIS simulation engine, the OASIS simulator for switched-mode power ICs provides over 150 power reference designs, which are ready to copy, modify, and simulate.

Norberto demonstrates how to use the EE-Sim design and simulation tool to select a DC-to-DC converter that meets your application requirements. He explains how minimum on-time, maximum output current, and duty cycle considerations are used to actively verify your requirements and ensure a working design.

In this video, Oliver teaches how to design a power supply in five minutes or less using the online EE-Sim design and simulation tool. The MAX17506 evaluation kit is used to compare simulation results with actual hardware.

Customize the display of EE-Sim simulation waveforms for optimal analysis. Configurable parameters include signal color, order, and grouping; axis scaling, placement, and synchronization; marker quantity and labels; auto and manual zoom; and formats for saving data.

Review the manufacturer, part number, and key properties for each recommended component in your schematic. Select a different component, or define your own component. How ceramic capacitor performance is derated, and why that is important.

Walk through the online EE-Sim DC-to-DC design and simulation tool. Learn how you need less than 10 minutes to design a switching power supply circuit including schematic, BOM, and simulation results. Over 250 different ICs are supported.
