When you dont see it again, then start computer with boot disk e.g. Win98 CD and put in cd programs, cd national instruments, cd circuit design suite 10.0 - note you cant see that folder but you can set into folder with these command and then del *.* (be carefully that you deleting really the right content of this folder and not your hard disk ) and yes to delete all of this folder. Then cd.. and rd circuit design suite 10.0 and these folder is deleted.

After reboot you can new install your circuit design suite 10.0 if not then go to execute -> type in regedit -> go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> National Instruments and delete here the Circuit Design Suite folder -> then exit and then reinstall the Circuit Design Suite folder.

NI Circuit Design Suite for Education provides an interactive learning environment where students can explore circuit behavior through simulation and analysis. This complete toolchain is designed with educational features to aid student learning and help

Proteus Design Suite 8.17 is now available for download. Proteus 8.17 is an interim point release and extends our new Push and Shove algorithms to support push mode route editing operations. We also aim to release Proteus VSM for microPython during the 8.17 Service Pack cycle.

The 8.17 release is a significant point release introducing a new Push and Shove route editing mode. Building on the Push routing algorithms, users can now push tracks and vias out of the way during a route editing operation. This is fully design rule aware and works with both linear and curved cornering modes.

We started developing Proteus way back in the days of MS-DOS. Over 35 years of constant development later we're proud to offer one of the most productive and cost effective PCB tools on the market. Our philosophy has always been one of continuous improvement and innovation resulting in a modern software suite packed full of powerful, time-saving features to help you design PCBs faster.

Purchasing Proteus is the start - not the end - of a successful business relationship. Included with the cost of the software comes a world class technical support service. After each professional purchase one of our team will introduce themselves as your technical support point of contact. This gives you an easy way to ask questions and direct access to Labcenter support. We may not be able to solve every problem immediately but we'll certainly try our best.

Our customers are the reason for our success. We remain fully engaged with our user base and encourage customers to get in touch and tell us what features would help make their job easier. We can't implement each request immediately of course but a formal logging system is in place for customer feedback which is regularly reviewed by management. Each and every Proteus product release benefits from customer driven development.

The NI Circuit Design Suite combines NI MultiSim and UltiBoard software for a complete circuit design, simulation, validation and layout platform. MultiSim is an intuitive environment for circuit design. With advanced mixed-mode simulation and validation, this software offers professional tools for your research and prototyping. And using a comprehensive library of components, you can easily build and validate circuit behavior. UltiBoard is a flexible PCB layout and routing environment. Easily transfer completed MultiSim schematics to UltiBoard and layout, route and export completed designs for fabrication.

NI Multisim (formerly MultiSIM) is an electronic schematic capture and simulation program which is part of a suite of circuit design programs, along with NI Ultiboard. Multisim is one of the few circuit design programs to employ the original Berkeley SPICE based software simulation. Multisim was originally created by a company named Electronics Workbench Group, which is now a division of National Instruments. Multisim includes microcontroller simulation (formerly known as MultiMCU), as well as integrated import and export features to the printed circuit board layout software in the suite, NI Ultiboard.

Multisim was originally called Electronics Workbench and created by a company called Interactive Image Technologies. At the time it was mainly used as an educational tool to teach electronics technician and electronics engineering programs in colleges and universities. National Instruments has maintained this educational legacy, with a specific version of Multisim with features developed for teaching electronics.

Photonic integration is an answer to the ever-increasing bandwidth demands, energy efficiency, smaller footprint, and reliability. The adaptation of PICs is rapidly growing across the industry segments such as data centers, optical interconnects, automotive, sensing, aerospace & defense, artificial intelligence (AI) and photonic computing.

PICs are becoming complex and component count is increasing at a rapid pace. Co-packaged optics (CPO) are driving more complex trade-offs between electronics and photonics and gone are the primitive days when it was enough to model photonics as electronics in electrical circuit simulators.

Synopsys OptSim provides an ideal, technology-agnostic simulator for modeling optical systems and photonic integrated circuits (PICs) that operate with coupling and feedback of different optical and electrical signal paths. While OptSim can be used as a standalone simulator with its own GUI, Synopsys OptoCompiler offers schematic-driven E-O co-design using OptSim and PrimeSim family of photonic and electrical circuit simulators for systems and circuits.

Synopsys OptSim supports the simulation of design hierarchies. Model bidirectional signal flow for both optical (single- and multi-wavelength) and electrical signals. Co-simulation with PrimeSim Continuum, which includes PrimeSim HSPICE and PrimeSim SPICE, and enables simulation of electronics in the PIC using industry leading electrical circuit simulators together with the simulation of photonic circuits. Additional features include:

In addition to supporting PIC design models and features of Synnopsys OptSim Circuit, OptSim provides a rich library of single- and multimode fiber-optic system design models thereby allowing testing a PIC at the system level. Measurement and plotting tools are supplied, such as optical and electrical scopes, signal, spectrum and eye diagram analyzers, Q-factor and BER estimators, power meters, etc. The intuitive representation of repeating and hierarchical elements in Synopsys OptSim provides brevity and efficiency to the layouts. For example, you can create custom components and organize and reuse them in the PIC layout. Synopsys OptSim libraries include:

Synopsys OptSim is integrated with Synopsys PrimeWave Design Environment for both electrical and photonic netlists allowing for the set-up of testbenches, specifying simulation engine and parameters, and performing scans and analyses. Synopsys OptSim supports PDKs from leading foundries, and co-simulation with MATLAB and other external tools.

is one of the most powerful software for analyzing, designing and manufacturing electrical and electronic circuits. Many electronics enthusiasts are familiar with Electronic Workbench software and are well aware of its ability to design circuits and solve related problems. The developer of this software, National Instruments, has fully released the new version of the software called NI Circuit Design Suite, which basically includes two softwares, NI Multisim and NI Ultiboard, with full attention to its widespread use and the need for some changes. 64 bit

By "any type" I referred to analog & digital circuits both. If circuit designing can be done by OrCAD then why a seperate platform like Virtuoso Schematic Editor? Also I am unable to find a circuit design forum of OrCAD. So I posted under PCB Design. What are the advantages of Allegro over OrCAD?

Some years back OrCad was a separate company that has been around for many years and was bought by Cadence. OrCad was Schematic capture but had its own PCB tool called PCB Layout. The Cadence PCB layout tool was called Allegro and was very high end in capabilities and cost. After the merger, Cadence offered multiple bundles of OrCad/Allegro combination with a limited functionality Allegro tool being referred to as PCB Designer. After version 16.2, Cadence stopped supporting the original Orcad PCB Layout tool in place of their own.

PSpice has and is a separate company and tool that has been around for many years. Cadence bundles it, for simulation, with their Orcad packages now under the license name of EE Designer. They also offer bundles with HDL Designer for schematic editor instead of the OrCAD Capture schematic editor.

Now, Virtuoso is their latest offering of a bundled suite of tools. I am not familiar with those. All I can really recommend is go to the website and look around for comparative "feature charts" of the various tool suites.

In my opinion, Allegro and Orcad Layout are not in the same league. Allegro is a high end tool and Layout is more of a Low to mid range tool. Which is best for you? That depends on what you are designing and your budget.

Data helps teams visualize whether their designs meet specifications. The data display and analytics capabilities in PathWave ADS produce graphs, charts, and diagrams to give you design confidence. Quickly accelerate your design with wizards, design guides, and templates. The complete design flow includes schematic, layout, circuit, electro-thermal, and electromagnetic simulations.
