POLITICAL PARTIES MUST CLOSE SHOP NOW TO ALLOW NIGERIAN STAKEHOLDERS TO FOCUS ON TRANSITION, REFERENDUMS – NINAS

The Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-determination (NINAS) has now become the alternative source to Abuja for ascertaining the vital signs of today’s moribund Unitary Nigeria which has been sustained by the imposed fraudulent 1999 Constitution that has been uniformly repudiated and rejected by a majority of the country’s stakeholders. Those who ever had a doubt about the power of the ongoing Constitutional Force Majeure (CFM) must now be having a second thought. They now see that the CFM triggered on December 16, 2020 was not just a one-off event, but rather a well-planned process that was designed to deliver the full essence of the five-issue demand contained in the Proclamation document. The NINAS’ August 17, 2021 international press conference was deployed as an update to summarize the phenomenal accomplishments of the CFM since its debut and the next steps ahead.

For those who are not paying attention or are otherwise totally distracted by the ambient noises emanating from the troubled polity, the press conference was used to summarize the diverse and varied impacts of the CFM on Nigeria at the national and international levels. The whole world is now aware that there is an ongoing major constitutional dispute among the stakeholders of Nigeria and this reality is now being factored into the recent fine-tuning of diplomatic, military and economic relationships of foreign powers with the country. On the domestic front, the Southern governors have made the unprecedented move to ban open grazing in their respective jurisdictions; a move seen to be a de facto rejection of the fraudulent 1999 Constitution with its crippling 68-item Federal Exclusive Legislative List that prohibits state governors from control or arms and other instruments of coercion.

The next important step in the schemed takedown of the fraudulent 1999 Constitution is to stop the journey toward the INEC-scheduled 2023 general elections. General elections are used to extend the life of the constitution in a democracy. Since NINAS has effectively unmasked the imposed fraudulent 1999 Constitution as the cause of the woes of today’s Unitary Nigeria, it is self-nihilistic and counterintuitive that Nigerians shall willingly extend the life of the very source of our own damnation. All political partisan formations doing business in the country have been asked to close shop and stop all moves aimed at the scheduled 2023 general elections.

Most importantly, stakeholders of the Alliance Territory (Middle Belt and South) are alerted to complete the derivation of their regional Memorandum of Relationships (a. k. a. constitutions) in readiness for the UN-monitored regional referendum that shall ascertain the constituents’ wish for the future.
