Trump's blockade COLLAPSES as Iranian 'ghost ships' bypass US Navy during shaky ceasefire amid uneasy oil prices

Donald Trump's naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is unraveling after dozens of Iranian vessels secretly slipped past US surveillance, even as the regime tightened its grip on the critical oil passageway by attacking three tankers.

Approximately 34 Iranian oil tankers have slipped through the blockade, with 19 vessels exiting the Persian Gulf past Trump's navy and another 15 ships entering from the Arabian Sea toward Iran, according to the Financial Times.

Six of those tankers were smuggling Iranian crude oil totaling 10.7 million barrels, estimated to be worth approximately $910 million in revenue for the regime.

The report follows Iran's seizure of two cargo ships on Wednesday morning in the strait, after attacking those vessels and a third, claiming the ships had failed to comply with the regime's demands.

Trump announced Tuesday he would extend the ceasefire but continue the American naval blockade of Iranian ports, as a way of exerting pressure on the Islamic Republic to reopen the vital waterway.

As reports of Iranian gunfire on three container ships emerged, oil prices rose with Brent crude futures up to $99.21 a barrel. Gas prices in the US have skyrocketed to above $4 a gallon as polling suggests the public is turning against Trump's war.

The President, behind closed doors, is reluctant to resume a bombing campaign on Iran and is hopeful economic pressure will be enough to bring Tehran back to the table, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Senior officials say Trump seemed wary about prolonging the conflict because of how deeply unpopular it is with the American public.

Where are the CAs of these online fora shouting and ranting about the ingenuity of Trump's catastrophic Iran war.

To bring Iran to it's knees militarily after incessant bombing was not possible; to carry out a total regime change was not achievable and now, to carry out shipping blockade in the little strait of Hormuz with the entire US 5th fleet has become impossible.

All the sensible countries around the world, and especially US allies, saw the folly in the unprecedented idiotic and erratic behaviour of the US leadership and abstained from participation.

The problem is tact is usually more useful that brute force. Iran just generally honker down and let the US expend their might until they ran out of steam.

My guess is that the US has expended more than the ordnance and ammunition they envisage on using in the war and are now waiting for re-stocking and using the cease fire as a cover. Iran will still wear them down irrespective.

This war, in my opinion, will make the US weaker and more vulnerable to emerging forces like China and North Korea.
It's a shame to see the US being decimated bit by bit by charlatans who have taken over their government. It's quite a shame!

Joke!!
I thought Iran claims it owns the strait of Hormuz?
So why are its ships "slipping through"?
The only language such terrorists understand is use of force.

President Trump has proved to Iranian recalcitrants that they don't have the monopoly to violence.
Now, Iranian ships are sneaking around their front and backyards.

And you call that victory?

CA,

Who is the joke on?
Trump and his team, I'll say.

The churn rate of personnel in the defense (or is it war department sef) tell the whole story.

Dissent is rampant and I'm looking and expecting a wholesale rejection of orders by the military from the commander-in-chief and defense(or na war sef) very soon.

Even the Commander-in-chief has increased close body protection by the secret service, meaning increased homegrown threat to Trump himself.

No US president has ever been this unpopular during wartime.

CA, keep hailing.
You always get the Oscar for pinning your fate on a fading star and hailing it until it fades away.

Keep doing what you do!
