He responded he did not know that he left hurriedly because he had a plane to catch. Somebody told him that there were two vultures looking at that child, but only one had a camera.
That Journalist eventually committed suicide.

Our humanity is questioned by our response to crisis. Nigerians should be very careful how they react to this decades long Christian genocide in Nigeria.
That there is Christian genocide in Nigeria is not in question, therefore, not up for debate. Hence, I will not dignify its denial with a response.
There are spiritual consequences for our behavior especially when the blood of innocents is shed.
First Lady Patience Jonathan (bless her) cried on National TV about the kidnapping of Chibok girls and invoked the Name of God in her despair.
https://x.com/firstladyship/status/1985480506813624549?t=ghD5mPoj928p4cWMJx8NWw&s=09
Some Nigerians even laughed at her when she cried: Diaris God o o o!!! : Diaris God o o o!! : Diaris God o o o!!!!
Some even called her “shepopotamus”
Yes!!
I believe in the almighty God, his power is omnipotent, and he rules in the affairs of men.
The name of God is never invoked in vain.
The almighty God eventually answers his name.
His faithfulness is inalienable.
I pray for President Tinubu to seek divine wisdom and approach this matter with utmost humility and honesty.
Nigeria should accept President Trump’s outstretched hands to vanquish this National embarrassment.
There are many jihadists in the North, including Gumi, who do not want this slaughter of innocent Nigerians to end. Many Northern politicians and some Arabs have been sponsoring this jihad in Nigeria.
These savages want Tinubu’s presidency to fail; hence they are drumming up misinformation to obfuscate Trump’s message.
Tinubu must seek the truth and only the truth shall set Nigeria free.
There is divine intervention in this matter, because the wrath of God has been kindled by the blood of innocent Nigerians.

I disagree with you, Olola Kassim, this woman summed up this situation from all of its angles excellently. Have you not been watching the testimonies of survivors of these attacks? Igbo survivors of the genocides in the North of the 1960s told similar tales but you Nigerians denied their stories and got away with the atrocities because the West backed up your denial. Since Rwanda in 1994, the West is no longer playing coyly over stuffs of this nature. Even journalists aren't minding their business of only reporting (without interfering as humans) since the journalist who witnessed and photographed a dying child surrounded and awaited to eventually die by hungry vultures committed suicide years after that sight -- because he could not forgive himself for not saving that child.
Olola Kassim, take this matter seriously, genocide is going on against Christians in Nigeria. Without admitting it, a solution can never be found for it. Your last sentence is disingenuous; if Nigeria had what it takes to solve its problems, these killings would not be going on; you and I would likely not have left Nigeria. Let us be humble and honest: Nigeria is a shithole country.

Response to the speaker in the attached video:
Falana gbo tie (Mind your own business).
Even though I agree that there have been more "Alternative Truths" than real "Truths " being spread around the world about the massacres in Nigeria, I think the speaker
in the video may also be misrepresenting what is going on in Nigeria. Her posture and demeanor reminds me of what we learnt in our History and Religion classes in Primary and Secondary schools namely the puritanical posture of the missionaries and proselytizers
of foreign religions in our lands. They always knew better what our forebears wanted than they did and only by accepting their own faiths could they make it to heaven.
The untimely death of a single human being through violence anywhere in the world for any reason
is a terrible occurrence that all decent human beings should condemn.
However generalizing these occurrences by claiming that thousands of Nigerian Christians are being selectively massacred in Nigeria is false.
Unfortunately these false propaganda are being spread by some of our fellow citizens who have ulterior motives.
Nigeria should not depend on the USA to provide the "Truths" about what is going on within our own borders when the same country can not provide the same "Truths"
about events within her borders.
There was a time when we were growing up when data from the USA published in the annual “CIA Factbook” was the place to go
when looking for authentic data about any region of the world.
That period and that USA is long gone. “Truth isn’t Truth” in today’s USA.
Mass shootings occur in the USA so frequently they no longer dominate the headlines. They are so routine one could guess the next steps they would take in
managing these horrific events from the beginning till they are no longer mentioned in the news.
It always ends with our ‘prayers are with the victims and their families’ and more guns would be sold in their thousands the next day.
US citizens have a greater chance of being killed in their places of worship, (churches, mosques, synagogues etc.) supermarkets, schools, universities, stadiums
and other public places they gather in large numbers any day of the week than Nigerians are.
‘Falana gbo tie’ (Mind your own business; remove the log in your eyes before helping me to remove the tiny speck in mine)
should be our response to any attempt to by the USA to interfere in Nigerian affairs.
Nigeria does not need the USA in our affairs. We have enough will and resources to solve our own problems with the assistance of other nations in the world.
Bye,
Ola
