Pin Point Magnet Pass has  chosen the below named individual as the Chicago's person of the year 2017.  This individual individual has demonstrated, generosity, hard work, involvement, love, charitable works and a good citizen.

He has shown love to many, what the Holy Bible said about love, "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you."  Mathew 5:44

1)  He hail from Amaibo Nguru, Ngor-Okpala, Imo State, Nigeria. 

2)  EDUCATION: Attended St. Patrick Catholic School, Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria (1955-1961). Graduated from Ibadan City Academy, Ibadan, Oshun State, Nigeria (1962-1966).
Attended Blackburn College (1974-1975). Graduated from Eastern Illinois University,  Charleston, IL, USA,  (1975-1978) Bs. Marketing.
University of Illinois, Chicago, IL (1989-1991) MA. Education.

3)  EMPLOYMENT: Chicago  Public School (1988-2015). Special education teacher (LBS1).  Alajobi Rehabilitating Group Home (1996-2006) Program Coordinator/Tutor.

4)  Retired in 2015. Conferred with a Chieftain Igbo tradition title, as the ARIRIERIMBA1 of Nguru Umuaro in Ngor-Okpala Local domain, Imo State, Nigeria.

5)  SPORTS: Played soccer in elementary and high school,  represented The then Western Region of Nigeria, in the regional Academicals soccer competition ( 1965-1966).  
Played for ECN now known as NEPA (1967-1969). Joined and played for ACB, Lagos, Nigeria (1969-1974). 
Played for The Nigerian Green Eagles national team (1968-1972).
Played college soccer for Blackburn College and Eastern Illinois University. Earned honorable mention as ALL AMERICAN while representing The EIU soccer team.

6)  Played and Coached Gazelle Soccer Club of Chicago.
SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS: Member of the Nigerian Students Union in the late 70s. Member of the Nigerian Cultural Association in the 80s. Member of the Nigerian National Alliance in the '80s/90s. President of Oganihu Owerri Provincial Association/Environs (1989-1991), Vice President, Great US Owerri Foundation (1991-1996).
Chairman, Igbo Picnic (2 years).

Staunch member of Umunna Association of Chicago/Environs 
Represented the Nigerian community at the City of Chicago, Human Relations Advisory Board (1990-1992). Served as President  of Oganihu Owerri Provincial Association/Environ on second calling (2008-2009).

7)  Founding member and First President of Nzuko Ngor-Okpala Midwest Chapter USA (2009-2013).
Founding member and Vice President of Prestige International Social Club (2017 till date).

8)  RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: A devout and practicing Catholic. A Parish member and usher at Holy Ghost Church, South Holland, IL, USA.  Member of the Knight of Columbus, 4th degree class. Current Secretary of KC Pinta Neri Council #1846, South Holland, IL, USA.
CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS: Board member and Vice President, Golden Hope Foundation.
Fundraising volunteer for Daughters of Devine Love Ministry, IL.
Participates and solicits  funds for the Knight of Columbus' charity work.

10) He has been a pillar in our community.  He is awlays ready to serve with a smile, eagerness and even after his retirement, he still works tirelessly for our community without sewking any reward or recognition.  It our pleasure to honor him as the Person of the year 2017.

For the 2nd time in the history of PimP, you have made the right call.  First was Jeff, then now. He should have been the choice a many years back, hence my observation today.

If you have Chris behind you, you are worthy of his support and his presence with you also draw people to you. 

Going forward, the list of positive community efforts should be the yard stick for the next person to be chosen by "this secret or na ghost sef" selection committee.  This man should have been on the leader board way back then.  I am glad you corrected yourself; but why did it take this long.
