Everyone who knows Ezeana knows that I wear a princely grey beard. And a head full of grey hair. Poet Laureate Wole Soyinka was on several occasions mistaken for Ezeana. But Ezeana does not look that old, besides being handsome.
On Saturday, it was the Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey. This guy carrying a Nigerian flag approached me after my appearance with the Chief Commander to tell me that I was having too much fun. Of course, if I am not going to have lots of fun, I stay home and watch Nmanwu on YouTube. Okaka Ogbaru is my favorite. Reminds me of Ezeamama, Udembajekwe, and of course Ezekwereude.
Well. We are here again at Washington Park for the final day of the 2016 African Festival of the Arts. I did some shopping for my in laws. A box of ego ayoro for me though. If you are lucky to be as old as Ezeana and still kicking, my mother's dowry was paid with ego ayoro and a herd of cattle. Nnewi folks always mean business. If you are poor you will never get bride from Nnewi.
On the cards today are Howard Hughes and Rolls Royce on stage to close the festival at 11 pm. After Rolls Royce performs, I may change my order from Bentley to Rolls Royce. My children can be funny. Last time I asked for a Hummer, I came home and there was a Hummer sitting on the dining table with a remote by the side. If they don't buy me the real thing this time, I am moving to Lagos for my oil block.
