Why the North Won't Accept Igbo Presidency

My name is Daura. As someone from the ruling house in the North, I can share many experiences about politics in Nigeria


I agree with many contributors that Igbo becoming Nigeria's President is an impossibility

I'm sure many of you on this forum know that the average Kanuri, Zuru, Junkun or Tiv, or Hausa or Fulani man will never, ever support Igbo for the President of Nigeria. I also believe no Muslim in Nigeria will ever support Igbo for President.

You don't need to be told. You should know. If you have, Kanuri, Hausa or Fulani mother or father, you should know the first training from our primary school is "When you see a snake and Igbo person, kill the Igbo person first."


You recall that Sarduana in those days warned us. Even when he had alliance with Zik, he warned the North that Awolowo of Action Group was a man of discipline, a man of principle but that he can not work with him became of his socialism idea. But he warned us never to trust Igbo. Northern forefathers told us how deceitful, unprincipled, greedy, ready to grab and oppress others. Igbos are uncultured. You can imagine an Igbo man using the Quaran as toilet roll, that Akakuka that was beheaded.
Sarduana told us Yoruba are more civilised, they have conscience and have principle. They are a decent people. Imagine the way Osibajo handled the Presidency when Buhari was sick. If it were an Igbo person, he would do everything to subvert Buhari and even kill him.

Look at Tinubu, for 8 years, Buhari's hatched men nearly killed him. But he kept to his words and supported Buhari even with all the insults and embarrassment. The Buhari first time, Tinubu saw hell, but he didn't work against Buhari

Even the Yoruba could have mobilised and used the media to promote Osibajo and subvert Buhari for his ill health. They didn't do that.

With all the Fulani killings in Yorubaland, they bore the pain with diplomacy and Resilience. It paid off for them. Those Yoruba people are a wonderful people.

We believed Sarduana about all what he told us about Ibo. History proved Sarduana right.

However, the event of January 15 was the last straw. Igbos were the ones that shot Sarduana. They also killed Tafawa Balewa and many Northern senior and junior officers. How can a people be so cruel and wicked?


It does not matter if the coup was not Igbo coup as some Igbo tend to lie, but the fact is that Igboman shot dead Sarduan and his pregnant wife. Because of this, Sarduana never really had a child of his own apart from those he adopted.

It's like an Hausa or Fulani man to shoot and kill Ojukwu.

I can't imagine how a people can be so primitively bold and devilish to kill Sarduana, our modern day Uthman Dan Fodio and still expect the North to trust them. After killing Sarduana, they abolished regionalism and merged by force all the three regions.

The Igbo are a stupid people. Sorry to say.

I know in my heart that Igbo will never rule this country. It will not happen. If Nigeria makes the mistake of allowing Igbo to be President, the whole county will regret it because a people motivated by greed, avarice, self interest, lack of culture, lack of conscience can never run the country for the general good but for their own personal gains.

Who is talking about going to war?

This movement continue to grow by leaps and bounds because we are beginning to understand that one plays to ones strength - THE RULE OF LAW.

The strategy/governance of the born-to-rule minority from a very small ethnic nationality, the Fulani, is based  on feudalism on a foundation of anarchy. A look at the governing style or lack thereof, of the terrorist party, APC, should explain their modus operandi - complete and total absence of the rule of law. How else can they impose their will on the vast majority of the ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria - this strategy is their Achilles heel! You go to war and you play into their hands since they are then in a position to summon other nations that are sympathetic to their cause, the British government being one of them.

 Ohacracy or the collective servant leadership form of democracy, handed down to us by our ancestors, of which democracy is a subset is built on a foundation of the rule of law. By building this movement on the a peaceful separation you embrace the rule of law especially with the strategy below empowering each and every ethnic nationality even as you emphasize the human, civil and constitutional rights of every citizen; the world will have no choice but embrace your cause to the detriment of the born-to-rule and its regressive abominable coalition.

Every ethnic nationality must control 100% of its political space;
Every ethnic nationality must control 100% of its boundaries;
Every ethnic nationality must control 100% of its resources;
Every ethnic nationality must grow at its own pace;
Every ethnic nationality must govern/rule itself;
Every ethnic nationality must make the ultimate decision on the way forward by itself and itself alone.

Simply stated, the lines are clearly drawn, only those who do not have the interest of their ethnic nationalities in mind will continue to side with the born-to-rule; the lies that they had deliberately concocted to subjugate the ethnic nationalities can no longer be sustained; they have been exposed for what they are - parasites and paper tigers.

It is up to those in Diaspora to step up to the plate and begin to approach their various governments for a referendum even as they demand that the Buhari terrorist government be held liable for any and ALL crimes against humanity.

It was the bushman’s behavior of the Igbos that ignited the riots in the North, the riots that started in Kano and spread throughout the North like wildfire.

Have the Igbos learn any lessons from their gra gra in the 1960s?

Me don’t think so.

Because if any lessons were learnt, by now Igbos would not be playing with the tail of the Lion in Lagos.

Your igbo pal Nnanji can’t hold a discussion without personal insults.

I don’t see why I should respond to him in kind when there isn’t anything worth fighting about. I warned him I would block him from my personal accounts. That’s my right which I do not play with.

As for CyberWorld, I don’t own nothing and I don’t care if he rots here.

As for your opinion on how I respond in kind to Inyanminrin Useless People of Nigeria (IUPN), mind you as a tribe destroying Nigeria, I will ask for you to read what Wharfy, Vincent Odebesilu and company write all the time.

Did you see me insulting them personally as person to person?

Lady Omorodion, if you claim you’ve never seen or read what the Igbos write all the time on Yoruba people, then I will have no other choice but to call you a liar, and person as biased as you try to label me.

It means you are here only to take sides.

Anyway, no one needs to read my opinions, and if one reads mine anyone is free to comment on subject matter and contents thereof, not pouring insults on me. That’s very Inyanminrin-like, you know what I mean.

I know it’s very hard for you Nigerians, but let me help you out on how to hold a conversation:

If I say Igbo people are Ewu Easter, you can try to correct my opinion by pointing out the Igbos can’t be Ewu-goats slaughtered on Easter, because they still walk around after Easter.

I may then say “kudos to you”, because you made a valid point.

See how easy a discussion can go without insulting each other personally?
