Such a joke and shameful feeling of being part of the Nahar with extreme views.
I am scared of these Eco terrorists and so called Animal lovers( Maneka Gandhi's ilks). They have done more damage to this country and humanity than anyone else. Oh, but they can't see as their heads are buried in own Dogs poops! They can't be asked but requested to scoop the poop as per the law. They have every right of spreading the diseases to humanity in the name of so called humanity. I am sure many of their own will be soon suffering from diseases spread through fecal routes. I am just glad that I do not live any of the society made up of bunch of law wielding Eco terrorist, who have rich bank accounts but far less civic sense and accountability in the name of humanity. Real education is lacking in this country. God save my Country and real humanity.
Quite please, we are the animal lovers. I hope Supreme Court does the justice in 3rd week of August to those who are suffering at these fanatics hands. Alas, not to forget some of them have crossed to the dark side of corruption long back. Keep threatening and doing whatever we like. At the end, Jiski Lathi ooski Bhains.
I am busy cleaning my skin of the poop. He would have hoped these real humanity lovers would have adopted so many slum childrens' world would have been different. Oh we talk about humanity lovers, who spend more time and money on than mere mortal humans. Hippocrates will be shamed

Sincerely,
P.S.

Hi All

I would probably be the most hated person to state that "I hate anything with 4 legs". I have a reason because my son was attacked by one when he was just year and a half old. Years on he would cross the road when he sees a dog, even on a leash. There are so many toddlers in the society who deserve absolute safe playing by themselves.

Hence action needs to be taken and stop listening to NGO's.

We need to get all the strays outside the complex . If someone wants to adopt any stray , they are most welcome but then the stray must be taken to that persons house and kept there . We can't risk our kids limbs for this . Most societies even have wire fence put on all the main gates so that strays do not squeeze in from the gates to the complex . There are more strays even entering the complex from lilac laurel side . nahar group must once again keep sentries to get rid of this nuisance.

Let's come to solution (s).

I am a pet owner and animal lover myself, but I feel we have stretched it too far in allowing / multiplying of strays in and around Nahar's vicinity. Actually Nahar has become infested with stray dogs all over, which not all of us appreciate. Some of these strays are over-friendly and some of them (esp. a bunch of 6-7 opp. Jain mandir) are aggressive.

While being humane' towards animals is noble, let us not forget that Nahar is for human beings and not a breeding ground / hospital / NGO for animal welfare.

I would suggest we allow only a limited number / No strays inside Nahar and request NGO's to adopt other strays.

Thanks and Regards,

Sunmeet

1: Please register your dog with BMC
2: Please put your dog on leash at all times when in society premises
3: If our pet by chance poops in society premises, please clean the mess with a old news paper and dispose the same in the wastebin.

Lets maintain a clean and healthy enviornment for both pets and people around.

Dear pet owners who do not put your pets on leash,

We greet you as a co-pet owner and are happy that you and your pet are here with us.

We are given to understand that some pet has not been kept on leash in public areas within common premises. We understand your feelings on the issue.

However, the rule on the BMC License says clearly that our doggy babies need to be put on leash in public areas. Those who do not have pets are likely to use this as an excuse to fire hatred against pets as well as strays. We may protect our pets, but why should the poor strays bear the brunt and get beaten up or even killed (in some cases).

Putting our pets on the leash is a very tiny little adjustment that we can make which will go a long way towards spreading tolerance and perhaps love towards these animals who mean so much to us.

If our pets are on the leash in public places, we have a strong case. But if this is not the case, we may be forced to lodge a complaint with the BMC since it will be in the larger benefit of all pet-owners as well as strays.

Please make this very minor adjustment and let us remain united for the greater cause of animal welfare.

Dear pet owners who do not pick up dog poop of their pets

We greet you as co-pet owner and are happy to have you and your pet among us.

Please let us take extra care to prevent hatred against animals. Some of us meticulously pick up the poop of our pets and dispose it in the bins which have been specially put in place for this purpose. Please loin us in this special contribution to keep our environment clean. Only then can we take up the other silly complaints and come down heavily against cruelty to animals.

Please also keep a vigil on your dog walker to see that he is following this instruction in particular. We do not want people photographing our pets on their mobile while they are at it and attaching it with the complaints. As a group, we may not be in any position to stand together in such cases.

As animal lovers, let us make these minor adjustments which will go a long way towards creating acceptability, tolerance and perhaps even love towards our beloved four-legged friends.

Dear all,
I in advance would apologize for my words.
Today I would like to say i am fed up of people who sit and complain about the situation and have never ever done anything to help find a solution.
All the pack of dogs that are being mentioned in the mails , we have run in the scorching heat to catch them for spaying and vaccinating them.
May you be kind enough to please tell me what have you done for the same.
I was bitten by a pet dog as a child, however today I am working for the betterment of the whole environment. I am respectful of non animal lovers space as well as animal lovers. I expect pet owners to pick up after their pets and keep them on a leash .
However i don't sit and complain, could anyone of the people who are complaining please inform me of what action have they taken in this regard? Other than asking guards to beat up the strays or suggest something as illegal as moving strays out of a certain area. Please understand they are not entering our land we have entered theirs!
Only solution is already being worked on, if you feel so strongly come and help in our work of controlling the population!
NGO's  are working to help control the population and make our lives safer by vaccinating strays however helpers and supplies are always in short supply.
So come and help find positive and legal solutions or volunteer to help in the present system.
If you can't help, please stop this verbal diarrhea of complaints .
Thanks
Anjali.

Some facts: last year over 1.25 lakh rs was spent on vaccinating dogs from nahar signal, mahda market , entire nahar sectors and sangharsh nagar road.
Over the last 5 years all original resident strays of nahar have been spayed and vaccinated.
After opening of the entry from 4 towers, new strays have started to enter from sangharsh nagar and kherani road. We have in the past 1month spayed 15 more dogs .
Every week IDA van is coming and catching dogs for spaying .
The next round of vaccination is in the month of May and June.
So please note things are happening, Hiranandani took over 10 years to control strays population and is still working on it as it is a never ending process.

Ok.

Hostage by our group? we have a group? best described as animal loving? YES ANIMALS ARE PART OF OUR RELIGION, BELIEF SYSTEM AND CULTURE.

Your actually held hostage by the toxic air you breathe in with copper/wire/plastic burning industries less than 45 feet from the main gate and the school you could smell the gasses through the day and night inside nahar from your window or the compound. See the many chimneys to the south west of our building. Also by the noise pollution from which one members said his child couldn't sleep or study. By the escalating maintenance charges, by thieves robbing cycles and jewellery from the building (3-4 days back which is why the gates are half closed these days) and yet you choose to spend your time targeting poor animals with your venomous mail play.

Use your poetry for something that is more relevant sir and not life hating/ill wishing.

I humbly stand by Santosh’s mail and would want to be as cooperative as can be but the last time mails like yours went out 3 compound dogs mysteriously had broken legs using what i think are sticks judging by the wound (the dark Brown Dog behind Tilia, A golden dog at the entrance of tilia and tulipia and again a golden one near arum/allamanda). And 2 dead puppies now. Show your kids this picture and see how they react to this heartless act.

Dont worry about me talking to lawyers just stake your claim. Balance I will sort for myself. However  if you do have something constructive on how we can work towards improving this situation even by a little bit for any uncomfortable residents the pet keepers and animal lovers would be happy to comply as always.

Prashant

Dear Prashant,
This is a clear breech of confidentiality and bullying. I think you better start talking to your lawyers as I am taking this case for breech of confidentiality and threatening behaviour.
I am taking this case for libel.
I am still scared and it feels me insecure from your threatening behaviour, we poor residents have been held hostage by your group. We love animals too but not too use them as threatening tools and causing poo menace to the society.
I wish you had decency to maintain confidentiality of the group rather than threatening. I am scared for my life. I feel so insecure now.

Sincerely,
P.S.

Dear Mr.Nayar,

Please share your contact details.

Have you connected on the phone with any Mumbai based Animal activists or Animal welfare organisations in person?

We are a Delhi based organisation and suggest instead of emailing, you call/meet and connect with like minded people in Mumbai to put an end to this hate mail.
