Hi Group
I see a few feral pigeons landing in my terrace regularly who suffer from concussion due to PMV and Clostridium infection.
Though i would have taken care of all of them, i do not have time and we do not have anybody at home most of the time to look after these ill birds
Would be indebted if any of you can forward me any NGO that genuinely takes care of them as they require 1-4 weeks to recover.
Since its a viral infection there are no medicine that can cure it, medicine like Baytril* do offer some symptomatic relief.
But somebody sure need to handfeed them till they can put their neck straight and feed and drink themselves
Why all this bother for pigeons who are apparently pests who ruin the open areas with their droppings.Plain simple rationale who am i to decide who lives, all i can do is help in anyway i can if at all.
Thanks in advance for your time and effort to help.
NB : Have cured about a dozen pigeon using the same protocol but it seem more and more of them get infected day by day, this is a pattern that is happening
over last 6 months.

1: Please register your dog with BMC
2: Please put your dog on leash at all times when in society premises
3: If our pet by chance poops in society premises, please clean the mess with a old news paper and dispose the same in the wastebin.
Lets maintain a clean and healthy enviornment for both pets and people around.
