Is Nagrestconf compatible to 4.1.1 yet? I'm I able to upgrade without running into issues?

It's compatible with Nagios 4. The nagrestconf installation guide for Centos 7 installs nagrestconf with nagios 4.0.8. I have not tried it with 4.1.1 though. If you try it then please let me know the result. Thanks.

There are no instructions for upgrading I'm afraid. What OS are you using?

I think you will need to use some on-line guide to upgrade nagios. Nagrestconf will work with it but if the upgrade is not an 'official' upgrade, like 'apt-get install nagios4' from standard repos, then locations will likely change and you will need to make changes to files in /etc/nagrestconf. Description of config files, if you need them, are here: http://nagrestconf.smorg.co.uk/documentation/configfiles.php
