Position- AGM Operations
JOB DESCRIPTION
OF AGM- OPERATIONS
- Supervises and manages the
department and communicating any procedural changes, conducting employee
evaluations, planning and organizing activities, coordinating and
attending training seminars, maintaining labour relations, ensuring
effective communication with other departments and planning for the
implementation of new products and processes.
- Schedules production by developing
production schedules, adjusting schedules depending on customer
requirements, scheduling production lines for maximum output, planning for
the testing of new product, equipment and processes and communicating with
other departments.
- Responsible for implementing and
maintaining food safety and quality assurance policies including Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control
Points (HACCP) and Prerequisite Programs (PRPs).
- Liaison and co-operate with
quality management systems and standards bodies (e.g. FSSAI, EIA, USFDA-
FSMA, Global Food Safety Standard -BRC etc.). Coordinate for the customer
audits –. Ensure that the all audits are conducted timely manner
- Managing GMP & GHP in the
process, Planning for the weekly maintenance of plant
- Manages the departmental budget by
developing a budget for labour based on projected sales, including new
equipment parts in the budget, monitoring labour, supplies, coordinating
with accounting on costing new products and developing cost reductions
within the department.
- Monthly closing of raw &
packing materials and preparation of variance report & analyze the
root causes of wastage
- Responsible for Food Safety and
Quality Prerequisite programs as assigned by the plants.
- Compiling the MIS data for the
monthly review with the all the departments for the variance in the
production.
- Ensures operational staff meet
food safety and quality requirements.
- Performs other duties by
developing and coordinating training procedures for personnel, maintaining
accurate records, managing inventory and performing other duties as
assigned.
- To be actively involved in the all
Audits of the company when and where help is required.
Qualification and
Skill:
- BTech/ Any degree in Food
- Experience 15 to 20 years
