How to Monitor Large Enterprise n/w Effectively with Single Nagios Console

Currently I am monitoring 50 Routers, 65 Firewalls, and 10 Mail
Servers with the only one Nagios Server. i.e 125 network device
( Routers, Firewalls ) & their respective services like ( ping , ssh,
smtp,mailq )

On the same nagios server there are 75 switches are going to add for
monitoring.

So to monitor all the hosts & their respective services effectively
what tools I can used ?

For example I used “Nagios checker” plugin for firefox

Is there any notification tool other than "e-mail / sms" , that I can
install on a Windows XP machine & monitor nagios console very
effectively.

Check out NC_Net for monitoring Windows machines. It lets you monitor
all of the basic things: Disk, Memory, CPU, Services/processes,
anything WMI can get at, custom scripts, etc.
